The Weavers' Workshop, Spon End is a non profit making group set up to promote the craft of weaving and make it accessible to the Coventry community. We meet in The Activity Centre attached to The Weaver's House, 121 Upper Spon Street, Coventry, CV1 3BQ and offer an open drop in session on Monday and Thursdays from 10.00 -12.30pm. You can try various types of weaving and have a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit. We charge £3 for the morning session... We believe that craft activity and the process of making has an important role to play in people's everyday lives and has a therapeutic value... Our aim as a group is to promote the craft of weaving, its use as a creative medium and its place in Coventry's history.
