THE WIRE - Key Persons
Aislinn is a multi-media journalist and broadcaster who loves telling interesting stories.
She joined The Wire's Adelaide team as a Journalism student early in 2017, in order to hone her reporting skills and get a taste of chasing stories she is passionate about.
She is now an almost-graduate with a love of politics, social justice, and most importantly, broadcast. She hopes to work in radio full time after completing her degree.
As a Business and Media student in her final year, Analiza has worked in television and online magazines as well as in marketing and public relations roles. She brings both her creativity and business mind to The Wire radio.
Radio enables Analiza to give a voice to minorities and underrepresented communities. She believes it is her role to shed light on the truth while bringing you international, national and community stories.
Analiza enjoys meeting and interacting with people of diverse backgrounds and capabilities, as it allows her to deepen her knowledge, cultural sensitivities and relations.
Anisha Pillarisetty is a reporter at ABC Adelaide, and has a keen interest in community radio. She is also a freelance writer. Anisha has also participated at different events in Adelaide. In January 2023, she became the Producer for The Wire in Adelaide. (Image by Sia Duff)

Aryana is a Afghan-Australian journalist based in Brisbane, Queensland. She has worked in broadcast and online journalism for over three years as well as in community organisations for over seven years. She is deeply interested and invested in issues that impact refugee and minority communities, and her knowledge and expertise lies in media reporting and ethics, environmental politics, gender relations, international relations and peace and conflict studies.

Bridget Sloan is a student journalist currently situated in Brisbane, Australia. Bridget is a regular contributor to the Wire's Friday bulletin, as well as a contributor at Queensland Magazines. Brittany joined The Wire team in late 2016, but has been in and out of the radio industry since she was 16 years old. She is currently studying a combined bachelor of Communication and Arts at the University of Queensland in Brisbane which is what re-inspired her interest in radio journalism.
Brittany likes searching for the story that isn't being told or finding a different angle on an existing one. She thinks that education is key Brittany is very proud to be able to share the insights and stories of others through The Wire.
Cheyne joined The Wire Sydney team in 2016 with a keen interest in reporting on world politics and the environment. She currently studies post-graduate journalism at UTS, and holds an undergraduate degree in anthropology and archaeology from Sydney University.
Chris joined the Wire Sydney in April 2017 and specialises in sport and culture.
He is currently in his fifth year of a double degree in Journalism and International Studies and recently returned from 12 months of exchange in Germany where he studied the language.
Claudia joined The Wire in late-2016 after interning with ABC Radio Current Affairs as a reporter. She has a love for just about anything (from rural Australian affairs to international politics) and has big hopes for working in radio, wherever in the world that may be.
David was drawn to 2ser as he loved the idea of getting involved in radio music programming, setting his ultimate goal as having his own music show. He currently hosts his own music segment, Know Your Product. Following a period of producing on a drive time arts and culture show and a Sydney news show, David joined The Wire team during mid 2016 to gain further experience in working on radio packages. Getting the opportunity to shine a light on under represented issues and give exposure to struggling minority groups is what David loves most about The Wire.
