The Texas Fire Facilities Fund was launched in 2006 in partnership with the State Firemen's & Fire Marshals' Association of Texas (SFFMA), a leading fire services association in the state and Government Capital Corporation, a public finance investment firm. This partnership has grown and has now expanded the programs offered through this partnership... The Texas Fire Fund is a partnership of programs that provides services to volunteer fire departments in Texas. This partnership currently includes two programs. The Texas Fire Facilities Fund , a program to provide tax-exempt financing designed to facilitate low cost fire station financing in addition to equipment & apparatus financing. The second program is the Texas Fire Investment Pool, a pooled investment program providing competitive yields on building and equipment reserve funds.
