Tree Top was started in 2002 by Devin Downs. There wasn't a green landfill around Boise at the time and Mr. Downs, familiar with the industry, saw an opportunity to provide Boise a place to bring their yard waste and add value to it rather than letting it rot or burn as it would in a typical landfill. At the same time, he loved the idea of participating in helping the local environment and creating value-added products that would benefit local homeowners... During that time, we've grown and have learned the ends and outs of what it takes to run a successful recycling business.
