The purpose of these services is focused upon "creating change" within the client, the client system and the community."... Transitions, Inc. provides frequent and ongoing training to its Therapists so that they can remain updated on current trends in the field pertaining to sexual abuse, trauma and abuse. Membership in the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (A.P.S.A.C.) has been ongoing as has membership in the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (A.T.S.A.) Both of these professional organizations provides research-based information in their Journals and workshops.
