Jeffery E. Jacobson was born in the Bronx and received his degree in Philosophy from Fordham University at the age of 19. He worked his way through college as Manager of the Criterion and Embassy Theatres on Broadway. While attending New York Law School, he won the ASCAP Nathan Burkan Memorial Competition with an article on Copyright and Fair Use which was published in the Fall 1980 issue of "Communications and the Law" and serialized in New York Law School and Pace University Law School publications. He graduated from New York Law School in 1980 at age 23. Jeffrey Jacobson is a member of the Bars of the State of New York and the District of Columbia and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, in addition to Federal trial courts, and the U.S. Court of International Trade. Previously, he served as attorney for SESAC, Inc., the music licensing and performing rights organization.
Justin M. Jacobson is an entertainment and media attorney in New York City. In 2011, he was awarded his law degree from Touro Law Center in New York. He was a member of the Touro Law Review, served twice as the President of the Touro Arts, Entertainment and Sports Law Society, and actively participated in the Touro Law Intellectual Property Society. Admitted to the New York State Bar in March of 2012, he is also a member of the bar of the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has been a member of the American Bar Association since 2012.
He earned a B.A. in Sociology from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 2008. He was an active member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, where he served as the Social and Formal Chair as well as the Eminent Warden.

He also handles domestic and international trademark work for Toronto Blue Jays' pitcher, Marcus Stroman and his "Height Doesn't Measure Heart" brand. He has also worked with NY Giant Rashad Jennings and his Rashad Jennings Foundation.
Additionally, Justin began spreading his creative entrepreneur wings with the formation of Label 55, Ltd., a marketing and consulting agency for brands and musicians. All the while, Justin had found time to serve as an Instructor of music business at the Institute of Audio Research in New York City.
He has written various industry articles that have been published on music business resource, HypeBot, including "Why You Should Still Register Your ‘Copyrighted' Work," "How Musicians Make Money From Publishing," "SoundExchange Explained: Why Every Musician Should Sign-Up," "Why Do You Need A Band Member Agreement" and "Why A Songwriter Split Sheet Isn't Enough" (also reposted on USA Songwriting Competition).
Prior to joining The Jacobson Firm, Justin made history as the first college intern at the U.S. Copyright Office in Washington, D.C., where he streamlined www.copyright.gov's Frequently Asked Questions section and designed the official step-by-step PowerPoint Tutorial for the new electronic Copyright Office (eCo) site. He also worked at MTV in the Digital Music and Website Development department, working extensively on digital music video distribution.
He also learned the ropes of Marketing and Promotions at reggae label, RAS Records (which subsequently became a subsidiary of Sanctuary Records). His later work with the Digital Hometaping Royalties (D.A.R.T.) department of the Alliance of Artists and Record Companies led him to write his first article, "What is the A.A.R.C.?" The article was published in The Journal of the Copyright Society of the U.S.A and explained the company's role in collecting digital hometaping royalties under the Audio Home Recording Act. From there, he went on to intern in the Marketing and Promotions department of Trump World and Poker Life Magazines. He also helped co-found, D.C. Partyline, a D.C. based non-profit promotions and marketing firm. The company soon expanded to promotion and event production services to New York City and London.

Pablo G. Velez's practice encompasses all areas of immigration law, with emphasis on business and family immigration. Mr. Velez has represented and assisted international and domestic businesses, professionals, and individuals from all over the world in the successful filing and petitioning of various immigrant and non-immigrant visas for corporations, families, and investors. He also has significant experience with refugee matters, especially with asylum cases, and has represented clients in removal proceedings before the United States Immigration Court.
Mr. Velez also has extensive experience in representing and defending in-state and out-of-state insurance carriers in both litigation and arbitration forums in numerous civil litigation matters, with particular emphasis on no-fault/PIP and insurance fraud.
Mr. Velez is a graduate of the George Washington University's Elliot School of International Affairs. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Mr. Velez also studied abroad at Universiteit Utrecht in the Netherlands.

Peter J. Cipriano's practice focuses on providing legal advice and corporate guidance to domestic and international corporations of all sizes with emphasis on corporate formation, compliance and governance, as well as general business planning and strategy. He has significant experience in assisting domestic companies establish a presence and conduct business in Asian markets, as well as assisting foreign companies with all of their corporate and business immigration needs in order to conduct business in the American market.
Mr. Cipriano also has extensive experience in representing and defending global in-state and out-of-state insurance carriers in both litigation and arbitration forums in numerous civil litigation matters with emphases on no-fault/PIP, insurance fraud, subrogation, premises liability, and products liability.
Mr. Cipriano is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he graduated with high distinction, and is a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society. He received his Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School. Mr. Cipriano also studied abroad at the University of Tokyo under an academic scholarship from the Japanese Ministry of Education.
