Denise Parker

Hi - I'm Denise and I have over 30 years management experience gained in a number of different settings, but mainly in the not for profit sector. I have studied ILM Level 5 in Leadership and Management and have a significant amount of HR and finance/budgetary experience.

Emma Palmer

Job Titles:
  • Youth & Community Worker
I started my career working within nurseries and other varied posts within the field. I always knew I wanted to work within the youth field but wanted to gain more knowledge. Since having my child I decided to go back to university and completed a BA Honours in Family Support and Wellbeing. Since my time at university I have worked within mental health and supported families to engage to be able to build a stronger family unit and make life better for children, young people and their parents. I am looking forward to building on what I already know here at URPotential and supporting young people and adults in their development journeys.

Eric Lee

Job Titles:
  • Chairman of Steering Group
Hi, I'm Eric and I have been a tutor with URPotential for many years, teaching a variety of subjects which includes First Aid. I have been a nurse for 43 years, and in the past have been a Redcoat at Butlins, part of the Flamborough Lifeboat crew, and the British Red Cross on their Adult Education team. I have lots of qualifications some of which I can't remember. More recently I was appointed Chair of the Steering Group. When not working I am a football fan and will watch any match available!

Jade Holloway

Job Titles:
  • LGBT Sessional Worker
My name is Jade and I am one of the LGBT youth workers here at URPotential. My passion has always been to support people and I started my career working with the elderly, whilst bring up my children. I returned to study in 2009 where I completed an Access to HE course in Health and Social Care, at Blackpool and Fylde College. This then lead me to the University of Cumbria where I completed a BSc Hons degree in Child and Family Studies. I continued with a PGCE ending my studies in 2014. I went on to work in a local primary school in 2015 where I supported learning and behavior with the main part as 1-1 complex needs support.

Kaye Mathew

Kaye Mathew worked for Barclays Bank for some twenty years in many roles. She worked across the UK specifically in London and the Isle of Man. She was the Training Coordinator supporting many teams across the UK. She latterly moved into the world of business with the Northcote Michelin-starred restaurant and Ribble Valley Inn's Group as their Marketing & Public Relations Director. Kaye manages the Northcote Obsession Gastronomic Event every year inviting Michelin star chefs from around the world. She has lived on the Fylde Coast for 50 years and brings a wealth of business acumen and knowledge.

Michelle Weir - Treasurer

I am the treasurer for URPotential and I have worked within the accounting industry for 26 years. To further my education in accounting, I recently completed my AAT level 4 professional diploma in accounting. My work with URPotential is very rewarding and close to my heart as someone who values supporting individuals to reach their true potential. I am a mentor for young accountants in training who join our company I am very child and family orientated and in my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with daughters and I'm an avid cake baker

Nina Beavers

I am the Director & Operations Manager for URPotential, and oversee different projects including youthwork volunteers. I have over 35 years experience in youth & community work, delivering a range of youth & community work provision across the fylde coast. I have a BA Hons degree in youth & community studies, A1 assessor and PTTLS qualifications.
