Anthony E. Crowley

Dr. Crowley attended the Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He joined LSFP in 1987 and has served as the President of the Loudoun Hospital medical staff. and also Medical Director for Loudoun Medical Group. He is a resident of Lovettsville and enjoys equestrian sports, biking and hiking in his leisure time.

Benita Williams

Job Titles:
  • Lansdowne Front Desk Manager
Benita loves working with people in the healthcare environment. She is a trained Medical Receptionist and serves as front desk manager for our Lansdowne location where she handles staffing and day to day operations of the front desk, switchboard and managed care departments. Benita is a native of Loudoun County and currently resides in Leesburg with her family.

Beth Gibson

Job Titles:
  • Purcellville Office Manager
Beth graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in English and spent the early part of her career working in hospitality management. Her first experience working in a medical setting was with LSFP Physical Therapy in Lansdowne and has enjoyed working with patients at Leesburg Sterling Family Practice in Purcellville since 2019. She currently serves as the Office Manager in Purcellville. She and her husband reside in Purcellville with their two sons. Congratulations to our practitioners! Carla "Faith" Blaylock

Job Titles:
  • Stone Springs Office Manager
Faith joined LSFP in February 2023 as a Patient Service Representative. She was soon promoted to Office Manager of the Stone Springs location. Faith has a passion for helping others. She started her career in the health industry in 1999. She has worked in Patient Care as a Medical Assistant and Medical PSR. Faith is a native of Loudoun County as she grew up in Leesburg, Va. She has seen the area change from a good old country lifestyle to a fast-paced city lifestyle over the years. Faith enjoys spending lots of time with her family as well as at the beach. Carole Smarth

Dr. Smarth joined LSFP in 2008. She received her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at the Harvard Combined Program. She also holds a fellowship in infectious disease. Though her special interests include tropical medicine and the treatment of infectious disease such as HIV, Dr. Smarth thoroughly enjoys providing primary care for the entire family. Dr. Smarth is a resident of Leesburg and actively participates in providing medical aid to Haiti.

Colleen K. Wright

Dr. Wright joined LSFP in 1997. She received her medical degree from the University of Michigan and completed her residency training through the Medical College of Hampton Roads. Dr. Wright works at our Lansdowne facility and has a special interest in women's health. She is a resident of Great Falls and enjoys gardening and sewing.

Donald Lee

Dr. Lee joined LSFP in 2012. He attended the University of Michigan and the Chicago School of Osteopathic Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Lee is a resident of Herndon and in his spare time, he enjoys travel and spending time with his family.

Dr. Sara Dusing

Dr. Dusing joined LSFP at Cornwall in the fall of 2020. She grew up in Martinsburg, WV and attended West Virginia University. Dr. Dusing received her medical degree from Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in West Virginia. She completed her residency at University of Virginia in 2017. Dr. Dusing is board certified in Family Medicine and holds a special interest in women's health and pediatrics. Dr. Dusing currently resides in Loudoun County with her husband & dog, where she enjoys traveling, hiking, and visiting new restaurants. Dr. Sara Dusing will be working in our Purcellville office.

Jonathan D. Charen

Dr. Charen joined LSFP in 2005 after finishing his residency at the Fairfax Family Practice Residency Program. He attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York where he graduated in 2002. His undergraduate education includes a BA in both Biology and Art History. Dr. Charen has a special interest in orthopedics. He has served on the Board of Directors for Loudoun Medical Group as well as other committees. Dr. Charen enjoys travel and spending time with his family and friends.

Lisa Gray

  • Practice Manager
Lisa joined LSFP in 2005. She is a graduate of the Fairfax County School of Practical Nursing and received her nursing degree in 1993. She was the Clinical Manager until May 2023 and now serves as the Practice Manager. Lisa is a resident of Lansdowne and enjoys assisting her husband run their sports academy in her down time.

Lisa McIntyre

  • Cornwall Office Manager
Lisa joined LSFP at our Purcellville site in November of 2021. She has prior history working in healthcare beginning January 2012 working at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA as a Medical Record tech/coder. Shortly after in June 2015 Lisa moved to Ranson, WV and worked as a Patient Service Representative at Winchester Cardiology and Vascular Medicine. In 2017 she decided to further her education and joined Blue Ridge Community and Technical College Full time in Martinsburg, WV in 2017. She earned her associate degree in health information management in 2020. Lisa was Promoted to Office Manager in August 2023 for the Cornwall office location in Leesburg. During her down time Lisa enjoys spending quality time with her two dogs and catching up with her mother and daughter, who both reside in Pennsylvania. Congratulations to our practitioners! Maria Abarca

  • Ashburn Office Manager
Maria joined LSFP-Broadlands in August 2016. She worked as a Patient Service Representative until March 2019 when she was promoted to office manager at the Broadlands location. Maria enjoys helping patients and you will sometimes see her working at the front desk. In her free time, Maria enjoys a variety of creative activities. She enjoys attending her children's various sports activities and spending time with family, friends, and her adorable dog Rambo. Congratulations to our practitioners! Mary A. Cecil

Dr. Cecil joined LSFP in 2001 after completing her residency with the Fairfax Family Practice Residency Program in 1993. She attended the Medical College of Virginia and practiced in Vienna for many years after completing her residency. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has a special interest in women's and children's health. Dr. Cecil is a Herndon native and current resident and enjoys traveling and baking in her spare time.

Rahib Poonawala

Dr. Poonawala is a native of Northern Virginia. He joined LSFP in 2006 after practicing for three years in Centreville, VA. He is a graduate of the UVA School of Medicine and did his post graduate training in Boston, MA. He has a special interest in pediatric care and partnering with his patients to promote a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Poonawala is a resident of the Ashburn community and enjoys tennis, travel and is a huge DC sports fan.

Robert L. Hetzel

Dr. Hetzel joined LSFP in 2004. He grew up in Blacksburg and is a graduate of UVA, Virginia Tech and Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his residency in Charleston, SC in 2002. He is interested in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. Dr. Hetzel and his family are residents of Clark County where he enjoys farming, gardening and tending to his animals.

Samantha Neff

Samantha joined LSFP in 2011. She worked in our Cornwall office for several years as a patient service representative. Samantha transferred to our Lovettsville location and her leadership skills got the attention of management and she was promoted to office manager. Samantha loves working with people in the healthcare field. She was raised in Loudoun County but now resides in WV. Sarah Regan

Dr. Regan joined LSFP in September of 2014 at the Purcellville location. She is a native of Rockville, MD. She attended Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, where she also earned her Masters degree in Public Health. She completed her residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship in Faculty Development at the University of Virginia. Prior to joining LSFP, she worked in two Community Health Centers in Esmont, VA and Leesburg, VA. She especially enjoys women's health and pediatrics. Dr. Regan is a resident of the Leesburg community and enjoys traveling, and especially spending time at the beach, and trying new restaurants.

Scott H. Nagell

Dr. Nagell joined LSFP in 1989 after completing his family medicine residency at The University of Virginia. He also completed a two-year general surgery residency in 1986 at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Nagell has a special interest in sports medicine and serves as team physician for the Stonebridge High School football teams. He has been teaching medical students on a regular basis since 1991 and is on the faculty of UVA School of Medicine. Dr. Nagell travels to New Zealand on a yearly basis to precept medical students and new physicians from the University of Auckland. He enjoys travel and is an avid soccer fan.

Stephanie East

  • CPC, CPMA, Coding Specialist
Stephanie is a certified professional coder and medical auditor. She is in charge of our charge entry team at the office level. She works closely with the Loudoun Medical Group central billing office to make sure charges and medical coding submitted by our providers is accurate and up to date. TJ Hegerich

Job Titles:
  • Clinical Professor at UVA
Dr. Hegerich joined LSFP in 1997. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia for college and Medical School. His family medicine residency was through the Fairfax Family Practice Residency Program. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has special interests in prevention, pediatrics, sports medicine, medical information technology and teaching, . Dr. Hegerich has been a visiting clinical professor at UVA since 1998. He has been a member of Loudoun Medical Group's Information Technology Committee since 2000 and chair since 2004. He was instrumental in selecting, implementing and improving our electronic medical records(EMR) system. In his free time, he has enjoyed coaching youth soccer and basketball. He has also served as team physician for Potomac Falls HS from 1997-2001 and most recently for Woodgrove HS in Purcellville starting in 2010. He is a resident of Round Hill and in his spare time, enjoys travel soccer events with his children, travel abroad and in the U.S. .

Troy R. Mohler

Dr. Mohler joined LSFP in 2012. He is a native of Loudoun County and has traveled extensively since completing his residency at East Tennessee State University. Dr. Mohler has served as a rural Virginia country doctor, a Senior Medical Officer at Amundsen-Scott Base, Antarctica, and as a physician in rural clinics in Ghana, Africa and Azerbaijan. He has hung up his traveling stethoscope to practice in his hometown of Lovettsville. Dr. Mohler is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Valerie M. Rhodes

Dr.Rhodes joined the LSFP family in 2014 after completing her residency at the Fairfax Family Practice Residency Program. She attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine after completing an undergraduate degree in biology from Muhlenberg College, where she played basketball and ran track. Her treatment philosophy considers all aspects of the patient, emphasizing the doctor-patient relationship. Her special interests include sports medicine and newborn care, focusing on preventative wellness and ensuring that all vaccinations are up-to-date. Dr. Rhodes grew up in Altoona, Pennsylvania. A lifelong athlete, she enjoys biking the W&OD trail.
