Alistair Thain

Alistair is an integrative counsellor with a background in mental health, bereavement, and trauma. He offers a non-judgemental space where clients can be themselves and explore what is on their minds. He is passionate about making counselling accessible to all, especially to those who are neurodivergent.

Bay Whitaker

Job Titles:

Bay is a very experienced counsellor and supervisor who has helped clients with issues such as abuse, trauma, depression and work related stress. She integrates Transactional Analysis into her work where this feels suitable. As a kink-positive therapist, she works in an accepting way with people of all genders and sexual minorities.

Diana Gibson

Diana is an experienced counsellor who has worked with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, experienced in working with couples as well as individuals. She has worked for RELATE, and South Yorkshire Eating Disorders Association, and in the NHS in a variety of nursing and mental health supporting roles. Diana is now offering psychosexual therapy.

Ellie Pollard

Ellie works effectively with individuals and couples. She is experienced at working with anxiety, depression, anger, work-related stress, self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. She combines person-centred, solution focused and systemic therapy techniques along with mindfulness strategies to help you find a way forward.

Gill Wier

Gill is not taking any new clients at the moment. Gill is an experienced integrative counsellor and tailors her approach to suit your personality and preferences. She works effectively with individuals and couples on a range of issues, helping them to access their inner resources and find hope to move forward. She has particular interests in anxiety, fertility issues, spirituality and relationship issues. Gill is not taking any new clients at the moment. My key motivation as a counsellor is to see people thrive and live life to the full. I have an enduring hope in the capacity of human beings to change and heal. I have been a counsellor for 15 years and have helped many people overcome a range of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement, and work related issues. I work with individuals and couples and have particular interests in working with relationship issues, fertility issues and spirituality. I offer Discernment Counselling to couples on the brink of divorce.

Imogen Powell

Imogen is not taking any new clients. Imogen has worked with a wide diversity of young people and adults for over 25 years, she uses an integrated person centred approach to counselling and specialises in bereavement, anxiety, depression and substance use, including supporting the relatives of substance users.

Judith Caul

Judith is an experienced counsellor who has been part of our practice for over 10 years. She offers a safe, non-judgemental environment where individuals can explore such issues as: depression, anger, grief and work-related stress. She integrates a range of techniques into her work including mindfulness practises.

Karen Swarbrick

Karen is a qualified counsellor, trained to work with couples, individuals, and families. She specialises in couples counselling, and is currently completing an advanced degree in Contemporary Relationship Counselling.

Kate Uwins

Kate is a Counsellor-in-training in her final year of a Level 4 CPCAB diploma in therapeutic counselling. She offers low cost counselling sessions on Monday evenings.

Laurence Keith

He has worked effectively with people experiencing difficulties such as grief, trauma, relationship issues, depression and anxiety. He offers a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore your situation, make wise choices and positive changes.

Nicola Harpin

Nicola is our Counsellor-in-Training offering low cost couples counselling on Tuesday evenings. She is currently studying at Doncaster College for her Masters in Contemporary Relationship Studies.

Sarah Saatzer

Sarah's caseload is currently full, so she is not taking any new clients at the moment. Sarah is a highly experienced counsellor who works effectively with individuals and couples. She is very attentive to each client she sees and is gifted in working long term with deeper issues such as depression, trauma, adverse childhood experiences and family issues. She is currently completing additional training in Systemic Constellations.

Steph Millar

Steph is one of our Counsellors-in-Training, presently completing her Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Practice at Sheffield College. She is offering low cost counselling on Wednesday mornings.

Yasmina Fynn

Yasmina is one of our Counsellors in Training delivering our low cost couples sessions. She is in her final year at Doncaster college studying for her Masters in Contemporary Relationship Counselling. I have worked within social care in various statutory settings for approximately 15 years, and currently work with families to provide therapeutically informed care to children and young people. Over the past 3 years I have volunteered at 2 organisations in the south of the country, providing counselling to both couples and individuals covering a wide range of issues. I am currently working towards an MA in counselling focused on working with individuals, couples, and families.
