Adam Hover

Adam was born and raised in Schenectady, New York. During High School he was a proud member of the '97-'98 Schenectady Patriots New York State Basketball Championship team. After graduating from SUNY Albany with a bachelor's degree in Political Science, he received his Juris Doctor from Western New England College School of Law. During his undergraduate studies at SUNY Albany and pursuit of his Law Degree at Western New England, Adam worked in the Claims Department for a Medical Malpractice Insurance Company here in the Capital Region. Prior to joining MHM he was a partner with a highly regarded civil defense firm in Albany, NY. He has litigated cases in various fields including construction accidents, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents products liability and medical malpractice, in both state and federal court. In 2019 an opportunity arose for Adam to join the litigation team at Martin Harding & Mazzotti, LLP. He knew that with over a decade of experience evaluating, strategizing and defending civil cases, he would be well equipped to represent and guide his injured clients through the litigation process. His knowledge of the strategies employed by insurance companies allows him to better represent his clients and strive to achieve the best outcome for them. When he is not in the office Adam enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Alex C. Turnello

Alex C. Turnello was born and raised in the lone-star state of Texas. In 2012 he graduated with his bachelor's degree from New Mexico State University located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. While performing his undergraduate studies, Alex was a student senator and ultimately graduated with the "Outstanding Senior" Award for his College. In 2015, Alex earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of New Mexico located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. While performing his legal studies, Alex served as the President of the Environmental Law Society and played on the law school soccer team. After graduating from law school, Alex was admitted to practice law in Texas, New Mexico, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas in 2016. He began his legal career working with the Cervantes, Scherr & Legate Law Firm, where he represented injured persons in personal injury, employment and discrimination cases and tried more than five cases to jury verdict. Alex practiced law with the Cervantes, Scherr and Legate Law Firm for over two and a half years before he and his two dogs (Sadie and Frisco) relocated to the great state of New York. After living in the dry, barren Southwest his entire life, Alex welcomed the beautiful scenery, open water, sprawling trees, and the changing seasons that upstate New York offers in abundance. He began working with Harding Mazzotti, LLP in November 2018, and was admitted to the New York Bar in May 2019, and the Northern District of New York in 2021. He currently handles pre-litigation and litigation personal injury cases ranging from car and motorcycle crashes to slip and fall and dog bite cases. In the summer of 2022, Alex tried a case in the Rensselaer County Supreme Court and received a favorable jury verdict for his client. Alex is currently rated by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2021 - 2022; as well as a Super Lawyer in 2022. The Super Lawyers selection process is peer influenced and research driven, selecting only the top 5% of attorneys to the Super Lawyers lists each year. He currently lives in Queensbury with his beautiful partner and their cats and dogs. He spends his spare time playing soccer, skiing, attending musical concerts and traveling.

Benjamin Farstad

Benjamin was born and raised in upstate New York. He attended high school locally at Shenendehowa where he was a proud member of the 2014 Section II Champion Ice Hockey team. Benjamin attended the University of Maine in Orono. During his undergraduate studies, Benjamin also spent a summer at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands at the School of International Law and Public Policy. Benjamin was a recipient of the Tibor J. Bebek Memorial Scholarship and a member of Pi Sigma Alpha- The National Political Science Honor Society. After graduating from the University of Maine cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Political Science, Benjamin returned home to obtain his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School. While in law school, Benjamin began his legal career as a law clerk for Martin, Harding & Mazzotti working in the Connective Tissue, Mass Torts, and Litigation departments. During his time in law school, Benjamin also attended the Innovation and Technology Law Lab as a representative for Albany Law School at the University of Padova in Italy. Benjamin was a member of the Mediation Apprenticeship Clinic at Albany Law School where he completed an intensive training in mediation theory and skills and was able to assist clients in mediating small claims including landlord-tenant disputes and contract disputes. Benjamin is a certified mediator with the local organization, Mediation Matters. Upon graduation, Benjamin was thrilled to receive an offer to join the litigation department full-time. After nearly four years with the firm and as someone who grew up in the Capital District, Benjamin was able to see first-hand how much of an impact Martin, Harding & Mazzotti makes in both their clients lives and their communities. Benjamin looks forward to helping injured clients who have been harmed through no fault of their own. Benjamin was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2022. He now lives in Saratoga County. When he is not in the office Benjamin enjoys spending time with his family, playing ice hockey, and skiing.

Benjamin S. Barry

Benjamin S. Barry received his Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 2011, his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Potsdam and is admitted to practice before the New York State Bar, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York Bar and the Massachusetts State Bar. Benjamin began his legal career as a criminal defense attorney on the island of Nantucket where he joined a local and prominent firm as a legal intern in 2008. Subsequently, in 2013 Benjamin was offered a position with a New York based firm where he continued to represent individuals in criminal proceedings but expanded his skill set to include civil litigation and civil trial work. When offered a position at Martin, Harding and Mazzotti, LLP, Benjamin welcomed the opportunity to merge his medical knowledge with his formal legal training. As an active member of the Plattsburgh community, Benjamin considers personal injury law as an important part of his "community caretaking function." Benjamin is a member of the Federal Bar Association, American Bar Association, New York Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Clinton County Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Nantucket Island Bar Association. When away from the office, Benjamin enjoys spending time exploring the Adirondack Mountains and Lake Champlain.

Brian A. Benna

Brian Benna was raised in the Capital Region and graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1997. After high school, he attended Goucher College in Baltimore, MD, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 2001. Brian subsequently graduated from Albany Law School in 2004 with a Juris Doctorate. After working in state government and business to business sales for four years, he was admitted to practice law in New York in 2008. Brian has been providing legal counsel in Workers' Compensation cases since 2008, solely representing injured workers. "I find my work extremely rewarding since I get to protect the rights of people who are displaced from their jobs or require necessary medical treatment. Often times, the workers' compensation process attempts to limit benefits for injured workers, when limitations are inappropriate. I pride myself on fighting for all injured workers to ensure they are afforded every opportunity to receive these benefits."
