Crane Alarm Service began as the security system company "Masterguard Alert Systems" in Nampa, ID in 1979. As owner and sole employee, Ron Crane, through hard work and dedication built the company from the ground up and in 1987 was approached by competitor Chastain Alarm Service to be bought out by Masterguard. Having been in business since 1964 Ross Chastain wanted to ensure his customers would be well taken care of and Masterguard was the only company that met that bar. The merger brought about a new name, "Chastain-Crane Alarm Service". By 1992 the company had grown, become incorporated and the new, and current name "Crane Alarm Service" was adopted... Crane Alarm Service has been in the security system business in Nampa since 1964. We are a full-scale security and fire alarm company. We are known for our superior service and quality installations.
