Alex has a first-class degree in Economics and Mathematical Sciences and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2019, after obtaining his AAT qualification in 2017. He has extensive experience working with a wide range of clients from those in construction to media and agriculture.
Alex has a vast knowledge of accountancy software from Xero, Sage and QuickBooks. He can help you with a range of subjects from accounting to tax requirements.
Outside of work Alex enjoys spending time with his young family, socialising with friends and playing football.

Chris Scarboro joined Hardcastle Burton as a trainee accountant in 2004, qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2007 and latterly becoming a Fellow of the Association. Chris was admitted as a partner of the practice in 2019.
Chris Yarrow is a senior manager at Hardcastle Burton and joined the firm in 2021. He qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2004 and was admitted as a fellow in 2009 (FCCA) recognising 5 years of membership and continuous professional development.
Daniel Worbey is our Payroll Administrator at Hardcastle Burton. He has 20 years of payroll experience.

Denise Lindsell is a corporate partner at Hardcastle Burton. She was admitted as a partner in 2007 having qualified as a Chartered Accountant six years earlier. She also became a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation during 2007. As audit compliance partner Denise works with a range of commercial clients including several manufacturing, construction and technology companies.
Denise is an active member of the UK200 Property & Construction committee and in her spare time enjoys travelling and going to the theatre.
Jack has worked here since 2013 obtaining his AAT qualification in 2016 and his ACCA qualification in 2019. He is a specialist in the agricultural sector and has vast experience supporting small businesses with all their accounting/business requirements.
Jack has a broad knowledge of a variety of accounting software and can help you with topics ranging from your standard accounting/tax requirements to more personalised business analysis.
In his spare time he enjoys socialising with friends, attending sporting events and long distance running.

Jamie Palmer is a manager at Hardcastle Burton.
Jamie qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2018, following a degree in Economics from University of Leicester.
He has helped co-ordinate the switch to cloud-based accounting systems in preparation for Making Tax Digital.
Jamie is a Xero certified adviser who is experienced in setting up accounting systems for clients and providing ongoing record-keeping assistance. Jamie also manages a portfolio of companies primarily in the agricultural sector, dealing with both company accounts and personal tax returns.
Jessica Griffiths is a manager here at Hardcastle Burton.
Jessica joined Hardcastle Burton LLP in 2005 as a part qualified Accountant, completing her ACCA qualification in 2007.
Jessica manages a portfolio of varied clients from Sole Traders to larger Limited Companies, she also assists the partners with the preparation of trust accounts and trust tax returns.
Jo Webb is an associate with her own portfolio of clients. She also assists the partners with larger scale clients.
Keith Bouttell is a private client partner at Hardcastle Burton. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996, joining Hardcastle Burton in the same year and was admitted as a partner in 2004.
During his time with the firm Keith qualified as a financial adviser in 1998 and, whilst no longer a practicing adviser himself, he heads up our sister financial services company, Hardcastle Burton Financial Ltd.
His broad client base has a significant agricultural content, but he also deals with accounting and taxation matters for a variety of general commercial clients.
Keith specialises in high level capital taxation advice, including advising on the use and implications of trusts, and completed the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners diploma in 2007. Members of STEP include the most experienced and senior practitioners in the field of trusts and estates, and this qualification recognises Keith's expertise in this area.
More recently Keith regularly advises on the complex tax issues surrounding strategic and development land, including the use of collaboration structures to facilitate the sharing of planning gains between multiple landowners.
Outside of work Keith is a keen cyclist and can be found most weekends out on the Suffolk roads in ill-fitting lycra. He and his wife have three children, a dog and a cat.

Kristi is a corporate partner at Hardcastle Burton having joined the practice in 2018 after gaining her experience in Top 20 firms.
Prior to Hardcastle Burton Laura built up a number of years of experience working in smaller practices where she managed a range of services across a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, charities, trusts and limited companies.
Laura became ACCA qualified in 2013 and has built up knowledge in a range of accountancy software providers, including being a Xero and QBO Certified Advisor.
In her free time Laura can be found teaching scuba diving and supporting her son at football matches.
Lee obtained his Chartered Certified Accounting qualification from the ACCA in 2018. He specialises in agricultural finance and is both Xero and QuickBooks online certified.
Lee obtained a 2:1 undergraduate degree in accounting and finance from the University of Chichester.
Natasha Root is a manager at Hardcastle Burton. After completing her A levels in Cambridge Natasha became ACA qualified in 2014.

Peter Homent is a Consultant at Royston and specialises in dealing with agricultural clients. He is a land development and capital taxation specialist. His role includes acting as expert witness on agricultural matters, providing executorship and trustee services, high level capital taxation advice and advising on strategic business plans and business succession. Peter also has extensive commercial experience, having been executive director of two multinational groups. Peter qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1977, becoming a partner in Hardcastle Burton in 1982. His hobbies and interests include country sports and historic motor vehicles.
