Cheryl has gained extensive work experience in the accounting industry and joined Accounting Plus in 2019. She currently manages both corporate, personal taxes and clients in the real estate and property management industries. Cheryl also focuses on full-cycle bookkeeping, GST/HST/PST filings, CRA audits and reviews.
Outside of work, Cheryl volunteers as a financial assistant for the Toronto China Bible Church and is also an avid outdoor adventurer who likes hiking and kayaking.
Karan is our Staff Accountant, who is experienced in bookkeeping, corporate and personal tax returns. Karan has accounting experience in several industries including restaurants, real estate, health care, and consulting. Karan is always ready to help out clients in need and believes that the firm's success moves parallel to clients' satisfaction. Karan currently oversees our Xero operations and is the go-to person when it comes cloud accounting.
Manpreet has 10 years' experience in Accounting, Auditing and Taxation. She loves to listen to music and cook outside of her work.
Peter is the founder of Accounting Plus and established the firm in 1989. He has over 30 years of experience servicing clients as a tax and business advisor.
Peter usually starts his day with an early morning swim, followed by breakfast with his two children.
Peter is very passionate about technology and always looks for unique strategies to improve work processes. His favourite food is Chinese hot-pot and ice cream.
Sam is a seasoned payroll accounting professional with over 20 years of experience in the payroll/accounting field. Sam is currently responsible for processing the full-cycle payroll of small to medium-sized businesses across various industries including retail, manufacturing, real estate, and investments in Ontario and other provinces throughout Canada.
During his leisure time, Sam enjoys reading spiritual religious books and listing to Indian classical music. Sam loves to spend quality time with his family.
Sanchit has over 5 years of experience in the accounting industry and is experienced in e-commerce businesses. Sanchit also assists in payroll trust examinations and CRA reviews.
Sanchit loves playing video games in the winter and enjoys outdoor nature during the summers.
Tina joined Accounting Plus in 2007 and holds a position as Senior Accountant and Payroll Manager at the firm. Tina currently oversees our payroll department, where she supervises and manages the full-cycle payroll of small to medium-sized businesses across various industries including retail, manufacturing, real estate, and investments in Ontario and other provinces throughout Canada.
Tina enjoys flower arrangements and spends time with her kids and family during her leisure time.
Tyler is experienced in personal tax returns, including Canadian residents and non-residents. In addition to personal taxation, Tyler is also familiar with incorporations, corporate structuring and benefit applications. He is a very enthusiastic member of our team and is always happy to assist clients in need.
Besides personal taxation, Tyler also loves video games, pizza and movies including the Marvel series and Star Wars.
Violet has over a decade of professional experience in the accounting industry. While Violet focuses on both corporate and personal tax returns, she is experienced in year-end engagements for owner-managed businesses in various industries including retail, manufacturing, real estate, investments and more. She also handles tax audits, reviews and any other inquiries conducted by the CRA.
Violet loves travelling with her family and likes all types of fruits.
