Pete Cosmos

Pete Cosmos is a professional guitarist, composer and recording engineer. He has 30 years of design and integration experience with sound and video systems dedicated to music and the arts. Following undergraduate studies in music theory & performance at Ohio State and Kent State Universities, Mr. Cosmos spent eight years in the United States Air Force, where he ended up with top secret security clearance as an Avionics Systems component-level technician on the EC135 Worldwide Airborne Command Post aircraft. Following an Honorable Discharge from the military, Pete spent 1994 through 1997 at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor, teaching Recording Technology and Engineering. In 1994, Mr. Cosmos also joined AL&M Systems, a full services AV installation firm in Norfolk, providing sales, system design & engineering expertise. From 1997 through 2006, Pete acted as a Senior Project Manager for Maryland Sound and Image. His projects there included Military briefing & simulation rooms, University theaters, recording studios, sports stadiums, churches and museum AV exhibits. His duties included system design, infrastructure design and documentation, loudspeaker systems room modeling, installation supervision and commissioning, including sound & video system optimization. In 2006, Pete was invited to be the President of a new permanent installation design/build firm envisioned by Clark and his Acme Sound Partners colleagues to leverage their successful Broadway Sound Design practice. Pete provides, design, engineering, acquisition, project management and system optimization services on all large Acme Professional projects.

Tom Clark

Tom Clark has been a theatrical sound designer for 35 years and a sound, video & communication systems consultant for 21. He is the founder of Acme Sound Partners, which provided sound designs for 36 Broadway Musicals and Plays between 2000 and 2010, garnering 3 Drama Desk Awards and 5 Tony Award nominations along the way.
