By signing up as a member of AIRON, each member agrees to abide by the network's minimum standards as they pertain to research ethics, pricing and general conduct. AIRON observes the ESOMAR code of conduct as a primary reference point for market research ethics. While the member is not enjoined to follow AIRON standards for independent research that is not conducted through the network, our standards are already so high that our members typically abide by them, and are chosen on the criteria of being able to work to exacting standards, thereby elevating the image of research in Africa. Our business model is therefore motivated by the desire for clients to experience consistent research quality wherever they may wish to do a study in Africa.
