Austin Surgeons was founded in 1997 when the individual practices of Drs. Lamar Jones, Charles Livingston, Robert Askew Sr. and Robert Askew Jr. merged. Dr. Brant Victor joined the group in 1999, followed by Dr. Mark Lindsey in 2005, Drs. John Abikhaled, Jeff Meynig in 2006, Dr. Mark Glover in 2016, and Dr. Jose Lopez in 2018... Austin Surgeons is independent of any hospital or corporate affiliation. We believe our independence allows us to better focus our attention on you, our patient... Austin Surgeons brings over 100 years of collective experience in providing expertise in a broad range of surgical conditions including: hernias, gallstones and gallbladder disease, endocrine conditions involving the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands, gastro esophageal reflux disease (GERD), hiatal hernias and achalasia.
