Ann May, FNP, comes to BCH from Jackson River Pediatrics with over 19 years of pediatric experience. In addition, May spent 5 years at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College as an Assistant and Associate Professor as well as the Program Head for their nursing program. May is excited to continue providing pediatric primary care for infants and children of the BCH community.
Brittany Baker, FNP-C, provides pediatric services. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Virginia and a master's degree from Walden University. Ms. Baker began her career in the ICU before transitioning to pediatric primary care. Raised in the Alleghany Highlands, she is passionate about enhancing pediatric care at Bath Community Physicians Group.

Bio
Carrie lives in Covington, VA with her husband Nicholas, and three children Liam, Emma, and Isaac. She obtained her undergraduate degree in biology from James Madison University. She graduated from the physician assistant program at Eastern VA Medical School in Norfolk, VA in 2008. Carrie has worked as a hospitalist in the Carilion System for the past 13 years and enjoys spending time with family, home renovations, skiing, and traveling.

Dr. Eduard Nemirovsky was born in Russia but has spent most of his life living in the United States.

Dr. Neil K Dorsey has primarily specialized in Internal Medicine for over 39 years.
Elizabeth Armstrong, FNP, spent time with us as a Graduate student during her clinical rotations. She returns to us with the same great energy, with a deep connection to our BCH community. With special interests in family care and women's health, she has joined our team at the Covington Clinic.

Bio
Jeff was born and raised in rural western North Carolina. Bath County reminds him of where he grew up. Jeff has spent his entire career in health care. In 2015 he was selected as the "Outstanding Rural Health Professional", by the Center of Rural Health and the University of North Dakota. In 2016 and 2017 he was recognized by Becker's Hospital Review as "One of the Top 50 Critical Access Hospital CEOs To Know." Jeff and his wife Jenny have three daughters and multiple pets. In his leisure time, Jeff enjoys fishing, reading, and golf.
Jerilyn's focus is on pediatric wellness for ages three and up. She is also committed to providing acute/sick care for infants two months of age to adults and has performed CDL examinations since earning her DOT Certification. Having obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Canada, Jerilyn moved to the US and began a career in orthopedics at Roanoke Memorial. Her interest in serving rural communities and love for the outdoors led her to relocate to Alleghany County.
With over 20 years of experience in the medical field, Jessica holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a post-master certification as a family nurse practitioner from South University in Savannah, GA, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Keiser University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and an Associate's in Applied Science RN from Mountain Gateway Community College. Perkins has worked in acute care and has experience in various healthcare settings, including post-acute care, rehab, urgent care, and family practice.

Dr. Sedovy is an experienced general surgeon skilled in minimally invasive techniques and endoscopic procedures. His expertise includes the diagnosis and care of patients with diseases and disorders affecting the abdomen and digestive tract. He brings to BCH a reputation of superior quality and deep compassion for his patients.
Dr. Monroe spent 15 years of her early career as an Emergency Room RN in Southern California, working her way through medical school. After completing her residency in Family Practice, she became an Active-Duty physician for the Los Angeles Air Force Base for 4 years. She then worked as a physician in a rural health clinic in the San Bernardino mountains for 10 years before making her big move to the east coast. She joins the Bath Community Physicians Group - Monroe Covington Clinic as a well-rounded provider.
Kim Rexrode has been with Bath Community Hospital since 1999.
She graduated from Bath County High School and her interest in the medical field started when she became an EMT for the local rescue squad. Kim went to DSLCC and received her nursing degree.
She spent several years as an emergency room and intensive care registered nurse before deciding to continue her education at the University of Virginia to pursue her Master's Degree in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Once complete, she moved into Bath Community Physicians Group where she's been seeing and caring for the community for the past 12 years. Kim also serves as an advisory member to the Board of Directors.

Lori Hicks, a native of Alleghany County, has enjoyed living in Bath County since 1999. Ms. Hicks completed hospitality management courses at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, now Mountain Gateway Community College, and enjoyed a successful conference sales career in the resort industry. After having spent 20+ years in hospitality, Hicks was furloughed during the pandemic and opted not to return to the hospitality industry after an offer to join Bath Community Hospital. The two industries have many parallels and a mission to wrap your arms around in improving the health and wellness of a community she loves. Hicks serves on the Board of the Bath County Arts Association, the Rockbridge Area Community Services Board, the John Dufour Memorial Scholarship Foundation; and is a member of the Bath County Chamber of Commerce.

Michaela holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Baylor University in Dallas, TX, after earning of Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, VA. In addition to her education, Michaela has completed clinical rotations at Bath Community Physicians Group in Covington in family medicine and women's health; Jackson River Pediatrics in Covington; and Ende Medical Practice in Petersburg, VA.
Michaela's employment history includes working as a travel intensive care nurse for Aya Healthcare and American Traveler, where she provided nursing care in COVID and cardio-thoracic intensive care units and medical-surgical, progressive care, and emergency departments. She also provided nursing care at two Level 2 Trauma Centers.
Before her travel nursing positions, Michaela was a registered nurse supervisor in Roanoke, VA, supervising clinical staff on long-term and acute care units. She also worked as a registered nurse preceptor in the neuro-trauma intensive care unit at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and as a clinical associate in the progressive care unit at the same hospital.
Michaela's honors and achievements include receiving the Daisy Award for Nursing Excellence and being on the Dean's List at Jefferson College of Health Sciences and is a member of several professional organizations.

Mike has 20 plus years of experience in hospital facilities. He has successfully passed many Joint Commission, DNV, and CMS surveys in both large and small facilities.
Pari also serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Safehome Systems, Inc., in Covington, VA. In her spare time, Pari enjoys spending as much time with her family and friends as possible and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Bio
Robin is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in Human Resources. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management from St. John's River College in St. Augustine, Florida. Robin has demonstrated her expertise and dedication, most notably during her recent role at The Omni Homestead Resort, where she was honored with the Culture Warrior Award in 2022, among other accolades. Her familiarity with the healthcare industry is rooted in her upbringing, as she has been raised by her mother, a dedicated Registered Nurse. Robin's expertise, combined with her passion for people and organizational development, makes her a valuable asset in the field of Human Resources.

A native of Virginia, Crosby received his medical doctorate from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2001. Following residency training in family medicine at Carilion Clinic, Crosby joined the U.S. Air Force and began practicing as a family physician.
Realizing his preference for combat medicine, critical care, and emergency medicine, he pursued additional training and transitioned into the field of emergency medicine. While on active duty, he deployed twice to the Middle East as an emergency physician. No longer on active duty, he continues to serve our country as a flight surgeon in the Air National Guard.
Crosby lives in Roanoke with his wife, Young, and their three children, Katie, Ashley, and Christian. He enjoys spending time with his family, studying the Bible, reading, hunting, and fishing.

Vickie joined our team in September 2004 as a nurse supervisor, overseeing the ED and Transportation departments. A native of Bath County, she graduated from Bath County High School and completed the nursing program at Dabney S Lancaster, now Mountain Gateway Community College. Throughout her time at BCH, Vickie has demonstrated unwavering dedication and professionalism in serving the hospital. Her exemplary work ethic and commitment to patient care have been commendable. Vickie's specific responsibilities include managing acute care, swing bed, surgery, and the emergency departments.
