BLUE CAT RESTAURANT

There was a restaurant in my old neighborhood of Fairmount called the Blue Cat. On one of the main walls in the dining room was a large mural of - you guessed it - a very large blue cat. Featuring a Latin-inspired menu, this BYOB joint was one of my favorite weekend haunts - whether for dinner on Friday night or Sunday brunch. Sadly, the place closed its doors back at the end of 2015. I always wondered what happened to the cat mural. I'm assuming it was painted over when the space changed tenants...
