Colleen Simon

Colleen Simon, PT, obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida before moving to Atlanta from Jacksonville, FL in 2000 with her family. With a vast experience spanning various pediatric diagnoses from birth through age 21, Colleen specializes in Torticollis, Hypotonia, Gross Motor Delay, and Orthopedic conditions. She is also proficient in Spanish.

Dino Bylos - CFO

In 2016, Dino was inspired to be part of such a meaningful endeavor after recognizing the tremendous amount of Goodwill created in the community by Erin and the BBP team of therapists over the years. A CPA by profession, Dino brings a wealth of experience from his tenure at Deloitte and Barclays Bank, as well as his ventures in the food, hospitality and software industries. He ensures the smooth running of the day to day back of house activities. He gets a real kick from the kiddos coming by his office to say, "hello to Mr. Dino!" Dino resides in Marietta, GA with his wife Kathy and has three "grown up kids." His twin son and daughter graduated from Georgia Tech, making him a Yellow Jacket for life! In his spare time, Dino enjoys travelling, gastronomy, going to the gym and watching a variety of sports, with a strong emphasis on Georgia based teams!

Elena Kimbrough

Elena began her career as a speech-language pathologist assistant with Gwinnett County Public Schools while pursuing her master's degree. She later transitioned to a speech-language pathologist role, holding national certification through ASHA (American Speech Language Hearing Association) and a Georgia State License. Elena's expertise spans various communication needs in children, including expressive and receptive language disorders, apraxia of speech, stuttering, and more. She prioritizes family-centered therapy and values collaboration with parents to ensure effective treatment.

Erin Patrick - Founder

Erin graduated from the University of Georgia in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science (Go Dawgs!). In 2002, she went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University. Her passion, experiences and commitment to the pediatric therapy arena led her to founding Building Blocks Pediatrics in 2008. Erin has worked in various settings including, hospitals both inpatient and outpatient, schools, home health and private practice. Erin has experience working with children of all ages and abilities including, sensory processing disorders, neurological and genetic disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, hypotonicity, developmental delays and fine motor/visual motor delays. Erin has training in numerous areas including neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), sensory integration, and therapeutic listening. Erin is a current member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist in the state of Georgia.

Kaylee Petro

Kaylee is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and a California native. She attended California State University Fullerton where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She worked as a speech language pathology assistant for eight years before returning to school at Nova Southeastern University for her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Kaylee's clinical experience includes treatment, evaluation, and diagnostics for the pediatric population in outpatient and school settings. She has worked with toddlers, children and adolescents with varying communication needs including autism spectrum disorder, expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, childhood apraxia of speech and intellectual disability. Kaylee is caring, energetic and believes in providing a motivating and fun environment for her patients. She believes in collaboration with families to support the patient in their individual needs and prides herself in providing the highest quality of services to encourage patients to meet their full potential. In her free time, Kaylee enjoys reading, music, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and yellow lab Benny exploring their new home in Georgia.

Laura Martin

Laura Martin joined the Building Blocks Pediatrics office staff in June of 2024 after spending the past twenty years working in the front office at a local dermatology office. Laura brings a high level of efficiency and organization to her position, as well as a heart for patient care. Laura and her husband, David, have been married 32 years and have two adult children. In her spare time, Laura likes to go bird watching and spend time with her family.

Morgan Scott

Morgan Scott, PT, DPT, graduated from Mercer University and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Morgan completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alabama in Huntsville while playing volleyball collegiately, majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in Biological Sciences. Passionate about pediatric care, Morgan brings experience from outpatient settings, treating various neurologic and musculoskeletal conditions like Torticollis, Cerebral Palsy, and gross motor delay. She emphasizes parental involvement, believing it's crucial for a child's progress. What she loves most about her work is witnessing children achieve their goals. During her free time, Morgan enjoys staying active and social, cheering for Auburn football, and spending time with loved ones, including her pup, Roscoe!

Ms. Arden, MHS

Arden, a registered and licensed Master's level Occupational Therapist, earned her Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Georgia. During her time at the University of Georgia, Arden volunteered with Young Life and Extra Special People, as well as organizations like Children's Miracle Network and Relay for Life. She interned at Camp Twin Lakes, assisting children with various medical conditions and those in foster care. Arden pursued her Master's of Health Science in Occupational Therapy at Augusta University, where she served on the student government board and volunteered with Steps of Grace, teaching ballet to children with disabilities. With clinical experience in orthopedic and neurological settings in Atlanta and Chattanooga, Arden has worked with children with a wide range of conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, and genetic disorders. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering with her church, traveling, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
