The Capital Tax Collection Bureau (CapTax) is Central Pennsylvania's longest-serving and largest non-profit Earned Income Tax Collection agency, serving Huntingdon, Juniata, and Perry Counties. We also collect Local Services Tax, Occupation Assessment Taxes and Personal Taxes... We also administer and collect the Local Services Tax (LST) for municipalities and school districts, as well as such other local and more specific tax initiatives as the Occupational Assessment and Personal taxes charged in some member areas... CapTax also provides essential delinquent collection services for all of the taxes we collect, thereby lowering the costs of those services to our members. These savings are often passed on to you the taxpayer in the form of reduced or more stable income and other tax rates.
