CARE FOR THE HOMELESS

Care For the Homeless fights homelessness by delivering high-quality and client-centered health care, human services and shelter to homeless individuals and families, and by advocating for policies to ameliorate, prevent and end homelessness... In 2008, we launched our shelter services program with the opening of Susan's Place. The 200-bed transitional shelter houses women who are mentally ill or medically frail, and is located in the Bronx. We opened the 52nd Street Women's Center in 2019. Since opening, we have helped even more women move out of the shelter system and into stable, permanent housing... Care For the Homeless (CFH) works to end homelessness by providing high-quality, medical, mental, and behavioral health care.
