Clara is a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant at CEED.
Clara was born and raised in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. She has always dreamt about studying abroad and after so much hard work, she finally made it!
Clara graduated from NSCC in 2022 with a diploma degree in Business Administration, specializing in accounting. Her mom was also an Accountant, she has Clara me the passion for math, and she has been playing with numbers even since.
Normally in her free time, Clara enjoys listening to music, singing, dancing, and watching sitcoms like Friends, HIMYM, Big Bang Theory. Besides that, Clara loves playing Lego or puzzles, boardgames, video game, basically any kind of creative activities related to solving and focusing! She also like climbing indoors, traveling and challenging herself with new things.
Craig MacMullin has over 27 years of experience in finance, business and technical operations and business development. He began his career as an analytical chemist, but found that his true calling was in working with early stage and growth stage companies in a variety of senior management and executive roles, and is currently, the President & CEO of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CEED), as well as its associated charity the Society for Enterprise Education & Development (SEED).
Craig prides himself on being able to look at a business opportunity from multiple perspectives. He believes that business is fundamentally a human pursuit and while the technical skills of finance, accounting, operations and business development are employed as part of his skill set, the true "magic" is being able to mobilize and motivate a team to solve problems and offer products and services that matter to people.
Craig brings a diverse skill set and with experience as a senior financial executive in a variety of settings including technical services, high tech manufacturing and non-profit. He possesses a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from Acadia University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Saint Mary's University. In addition, he is a Chartered Professional Accountant, as well as a Certified Information Privacy Professional.

Jack Simpson is thrilled to be a co-op student with CEED, where he's part of the communications team, promoting initiatives and programs that support entrepreneurs across Nova Scotia. In his role, Jack contributes to a range of projects, from organizing community events to creating the company newsletter. He focuses on developing engaging content that inspires entrepreneurs to use the services available to help grow their businesses.
Currently studying Commerce at Dalhousie University, Jack has a keen interest in entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and the potential of AI to transform businesses. Outside of work, he enjoys surfing, golfing, and traveling. Jack is passionate about empowering entrepreneurs, believing it drives innovation and creates a better world for everyone.
With 20 years experience spanning sales, marketing, and team leadership, Jay has honed his skills in fostering growth, innovation, and community impact.
His work has taken him from newsroom editor, morning host, station manager, marketing agency owner, eventually leading him to corporate sales and marketing management. He's an entrepreneur, former SPARK winner, broadcaster, author, and public speaker.

Julian Kelly is excited to be a co-op student with CEED, where he is responsible for supporting the organization's communications efforts, promoting its resources and programs for entrepreneurs across Nova Scotia. In his entrepreneurship and communications co-op, Julian works on a variety of initiatives, from managing social media channels and creating content to engaging with the community and promoting CEED's events. He focuses on crafting clear, engaging messages that help spread the word about the important work CEED does to support local entrepreneurs.
Currently studying Commerce at Dalhousie University, Julian has a strong interest in digital communications, marketing, and sports business. Outside of work, he enjoys playing hockey. Always eager to learn new skills, Julian believes in the power of effective communication to connect people and create positive change.

Ugochi works on developing and executing the Leveling It Up Program action plans, coordinating schedules, proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action. She also assists with budget maintenance providing updates to the management team and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
With a Master of Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University and over a decade of experience in strategy, innovation, and business development, Ugochi is passionate about helping small businesses grow, scale, and succeed.
Aside from work, she loves spending time with family, reading, traveling, and exploring new cuisines.
