Blake Helminiak

Blake is a USPTA, PTR, and PPR certified pro. Blake's love of tennis stems from the numerous hours of court time he spent with his mom at a very young age. Years later, Blake graduated at the top of his class from Ferris State University where he spent four years studying in the Professional Tennis Management (PTM) program. With a love for the game and a desire to advance the sport for others at the University, Blake held several collegiate leadership positions. In a time of need, he stepped in and served as vice president of the Club Tennis Team. Not long after that, Blake was appointed president of the Professional Tennis Management Student Association. The Junior Tennis programming at Cedardale Health & Fitness will be further enriched with Blake's successful history of leadership and teaching experiences. He has taught at several tennis and country clubs across the country including The Middleburg Tennis Club, Middleburg VA, Westmoreland Country Club, Chicago IL, and Twos Athletic Club, Toledo OH. With a coaching style all his own, Blake's intention on the court is to encourage young players to "just have fun on the court," and to promote a culture of inclusion. He encourages his young, aspiring players to be leaders themselves by teaching them good sportsmanship and assisting other players when needed. Blake is our Junior Tennis Director and is USPTA, PTR, and PPR certified pro. Blake is available to teach private and group pickleball lessons

Casey Fallon

Casey is joining the Cedardale Fitness team after over a decade as a Certified Strength and Conditioning coach in various locations including St. John�s Prep in Danvers and Full Potential in Teays Valley, WV where he also served as the state director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association. A graduate of Roanoke College with a degree in Health and Human Performance, he was a four year starter on the Maroons golf team. Casey has spent his career working with athletes of all ages in all sports from collegiate football players prepping for the NFL to tennis players just looking to stay healthy and get a leg up on their opponents. He recently completed his Masters in.Education in Athletic Administration from Endicott College. Casey Lives in West Newbury with his wife Katie and daughters Harper (9) and Teagan (4) and dog Sadie. He also serves on the town Parks and Recreation Committee.

Chrissy Pettis

David Chapman

David is a British LTA certified tennis coach, PPTR platform certified coach and PPR certified pickleball coach. David with over 25 years experience has been Director at several local clubs including BSC Lynnfield, Woburn and Charles River Country Club in Newton, MA. David has coached juniors through various levels from beginner to college and even nationally ranked levels. He also has experience with adults across USTA, DBH and Northshore teams. In his position as Tennis Director David will be overseeing all racquet sport programming at Cedardale and is extremely excited to be part of the Cedardale Community. He currently lives in Wakefield, MA with his wife Kelley and two daughters Meghan and Abby along with his lovely labradoodle Emma. Please join us in welcoming David to the Cedardale Community. David may be out and about the courts this week but he officially starts his position on September 7th.

Deb Condon

Deb Condon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University. She has been working in Health and Wellness for the last 18 years and is currently the Group Exercise Manager here at Cedardale. Deb started her career as a Licensed Social Worker working with the Department of Social Services and moved on from there to work with underprivileged youth teaching the families how to engage through literature. Deb moved on from Social Work and combined her love of Fitness with her desire to help people reach their goals. She began working with Cancer Survivors through the LiveStrong program and teaching to specialty populations. Deb holds numerous certifications, teaching multiple modalities of exercise, including pre and post natal fitness, which allows her to work with new moms to regain their core stability, strength, and endurance. Deb runs our Fitmom Wellness program which empowers new moms to get healthy, strong and fit in a fun and small group setting, teaching them how to ease back into exercise safely and effectively.

Jamie Burger

Jamie Burger is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Dietetics. Jamie has completed her Dietic Internship, passed her boards and is now a Registered Dietitian. She is still attending Simmon's University for her Masters in Health Promotion. At URI, Jamie was very active as a member of the university's official dance team and worked as a group exercise instructor at the campus recreation center. As well as running several group nutrition programs Jamie is available for one-on-one nutrition consultations. Joel has been Cedardale for over 35 years as both employee and member. His has been an instructor for 8 year teaching private and group programs for various age levels. Joel is proud to have captained and played on Men's and Mixed teams that achieved success at both the District, Sectional, and National level. He is PTR certified.

Lori Paszko

Lori has been a part of Cedardale for many years holding many aquatic related positions including Swim Instructor, Lifeguard, Swim Coach, Synchronized Swimming Coach and Summer Swim Lesson Coordinator. She assumed the position of Aquatic Direcotr in May of 2021. Lori�s passion and love for aquatics started as a member of the Cedardale swim team back in 1986 as a junior. Her experience as a youth has led her into a lifelong involvement in swimming and teaching that has included swimming for Bates College during her college years and coaching Olympic Trial qualifiers and members of the USA National Junior Team. Lori�s experience has led her to understand the importance of balancing water safety with introducing proper swimming technique to all members of Cedardale�s swim programming. She strives to create an Aquatic Program and team at Cedardale that opens the door for our young members to be confident in the water, have the possibility of becoming lifeguards or swimmers on their high school or local club team as well as having the adult members realize the health benefits of water exercise and that swimming can be a lifelong passion. Lori also currently owns and is the Head Coach of Phoenix Swimming. Phoenix Swimming was ranked by USA Swimming in the summer of 2023 as the top team in the country under 100 athletes (roughly out of 4000 teams). Her reputation in USA Swimming has led to multiple invitations to coach and manage Regional, Diversity, and National swim camps at the USA Swimming Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. She is an American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) Level 5 coach, certified in Water Safety Instruction, has her Certified Pool Operator certifications, and certified in Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.

Margie Galanos

Margie has been with Cedardale for over 30 years in the Fitness and Aquatic Departments and more recently added her skills as a Membership Advisor to help new members get acclimated to the club. She uses her teaching skills both on land and water where you can see her working with our Members in a Functional Training Class or Parkinson�s Therapy program as well as in the pool teaching Arthritis water class or a sensory swim class for children. Margie enjoys helping people improve their lives through exercise and cognitive training and overall through her positive �can do� attitude. Margie is also passionate about Pickleball as she loves combining exercise with fun! She also enjoys reading non-fiction books, listening to informational podcasts and spending time with her family. Margie is a licensed OTA; AEA instructor; Arthritis Program Leader; Delay the Disease Instructor; and Fall Prevention Specialist.

Rachel Mintz

Rachel serves as both the Reception Desk Manager and the Tennis Administrator. Originally from Columbia, Maryland Rachel received her bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland College Park. As an integral part of the Tennis Department Rachel handles all registrations for both Junior and Adult Tennis Programs and is involved with the day to day tennis operations. Rachel is also very active playing tennis captaining both a Northshore Women�s Team as well as a USTA Summer Team.

Ryan Adamonis

Ryan is PTR, USTA High Performance and Under 10 certified. In his 20-year teaching career he has taught several sectionally and nationally ranked juniors as well as coaching several high performing USTA adult teams. Ryan has taught at Cedardale, The Thoreau Club of Concord, MA and was Director of the High Performance Program at The Miller Center in Buffalo, NY. Ryan played at Western Conn State College winning 3 NCAA Little East Division 3 Conference titles. Ryan has continued his playing career winning 3rd place in the Over 30 National Tournament in 2015 and has been ranked as high as 8th in the country in Over 30 Doubles. Ryan lives in Windham, NH with his wife Erin and 3 children Sofia, Mason and Olivia.

Stacy Roberts

Stacy is ingrained in Cedardale. She has been teaching and coaching all water related activities to both young and old. An avid tennis play from youth she has now expanded her passion to include pickleball. She is an avid (as in plays everyday) 4.0 tournament pickleball player, instructor and programming for our Pickleball program here at the club. Stacy has been teaching swim lessons and swim team for over 38 years to all ages at Cedardale. She also coached Timberlane High School Swim Team for 7 years and was awarded Coach of the Year twice! She is a certified lifeguard and swim instructor ( Water Safety Instructor) as well as ASCA Level II Swim Coach. Stacy is also a certified AEA water exercise instructor. Stacy is enthusiastic and energetic. She loves getting people involved in all aspects of the water. She has taught thousands of people to swim over the years......... a skill that could some day save their lives, or someone else's. She's also an accomplished tennis and pickleball player who loves having new members join her on either court!

Tyler is originally from Brookfield, Ct and attended Bryant University where he graduated in 2018. While attending Bryant Tyler played Varsity Squash and Club Tennis as he has always had a passion for racquet sports. Tyler picked up pickleball back in the Fall of 2022 and is very involved in growing the sport. He became a PPR certified instructor in May 2023 and loves to help teach others about the techniques and strategy of the sport. Tyler helps facilitate pickleball leagues, tournaments, and lessons at Cedardale.
