Adam J. Wolford, MS, CCC-SLP, joined the Community Hospital speech therapy department in the fall of 2009 as the Director of Speech Therapy.
He graduated in May 2008 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Master
Alysia Sheets, PA-C graduated from the Univerisy of Nebraska Medical Center with a Master's of Physician Assistant Studies in 2012. She joined McCook Clinic in 2017.
Amber Reynolds-Lorentz, PA-C is a physician assistant who works in the Anderson Center for Radiation Oncology. She graduated with honors with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Union College Physician Assistant Program in 2014. She is a member of the American Academy and the Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants.
Angie Wolford, MS, CCC-SLP, joined the Community Hospital speech therapy department in 2018. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology in May 2017.
Dr. Kumar completed medical school at Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post-Grad Institute of Medical Sciences, India; completed his internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center, Darby, Pennsylvania; and completed his residency at Hahnemann University Hospital (Drexel University College of Medicine), where he also completed his fellowship in neurophysiology

Dr. George is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. He completed medical school at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His residency in internal medicine, and fellowship in hematology/oncology, were completed at Brooke Army Medical Center, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas.
Dr. Klug graduated from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. In June 2016, he completed the four year OBGYN residency in the Kansas University-Wichita program.

Dr. Obasi attended medical school at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. He completed an internship at Military Hospital, Lagos, Nigeria and residencies at London Health Science Center in Ontario, Canada; Russell's Hall Hospital in England; and Newcastle General Hospital, also in England.

David A. Benavides, M.D., an orthopedic spine surgeon, is associated with Central Nebraska Spinal Surgery Center in Kearney. His services include disk replacements, minimally invasive spinal fusions, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, carpal tunnel release, and spinal surgery, which includes herniated discs in the neck and back, spinal instrumentation, spinal fusions, and spinal tumors. Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Benavides received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Galveston, Texas in 1988. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Scott and White Memorial Hospital, Texas A & M University, College of Medicine at Temple, Texas from 1989 to 1993. Dr. Benavides also completed a fellowship in spinal surgery with South Texas Orthopedic and Spinal Surgery Associates, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas from 1993 to 1994. Dr. Cantral is a member of Platte Valley Medical Group in Kearney. Dr.Cantral graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha in 1987. He is board certified in his primary specialty, pulmonary medicine, and also has expertise and board certification in internal medicine and sleep medicine. He was born in North Platte and has been practicing in Kearney since 1994.
Dr. Tice specializes in trauma and reconstruction of complex fractures, and also has the unique ability to work on upper extremities, including hands and shoulders, which makes him a nice fit for Community Hospital. He earned his Bachelor of Science in chemistry and microbiology from West Virginia University and his Doctor of Medicine from West Virginia University School of Medicine.
Dr. James Bunker is a dermatologist from North Platte. He received his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1988 and completed an internal medicine internship at Mayo Clinic in 1989. Dr. Bunker completed his residency in dermatology at the Colorado University, serving as chief resident in 1992. His special interests in skin disease include: early detection and treatment of skin cancer and precancerous skin lesions, including surgery; treatment of severe acne, including the use of Accutane; specialized treatment of psoriasis, including systemic therapies, UVB phototherapy and PUVA photo chemotherapy; removal of all types of skin lesions; and diagnosis and treatment of all types of dermatitis. Dr. Bunker is a Board Certified fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Ellen Branham, NP-C, has joined Community Hospital as a medical oncology nurse practitioner. She will work closely with Dr. Benjamin George, visiting medical oncologist from Callahan Cancer Center in North Platte. Branham's focus will be on creating care plans during and following treatment, managing side effects, counseling and educating patients and families, as well as providing services to prevent health problems and maintain good health into the future. A referral to Branham can be obtained through Dr. George.
Emma Wilken, Au.D., CCC-A, joins Dr. John Blecha, ENT at his satellite clinic in the Medical Specialists Center in McCook. Referrals are not necessary. Dr. Wilken will see patients in McCook for consultations, hearing-aid checks, and hearing aid fittings.
Emma was born and raised in Kearney, NE. She completed her undergraduate degree in Speech, Language, Hearing at the University of Kansas in 2017. She then moved on to University of Nebraska, where she completed her Masters of Hearing Science in 2019 and her Doctorate of Audiology in 2021.
Dr. Correll completed medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, and residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is board certified with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

's certified athletic trainer, Evan DeKok, MS, LAT, ATC, provides athletic trainer services to McCook Community College and McCook High School athletes in a variety of sports providing game coverage, assisting student athletes with rehab therapies and recovery and providing early injury recognition and evaluation.
He is a part of the Community Hospital sports medicine team of Richard Lawton, M.D., orthopedic surgeon; Kaitlyn Redding, orthopedic certified physician assistant, and Becki Lampe, LPN, orthopedic nurse.
Evan graduated from the University of Nebraska - Kearney with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2021 and a Master of Athletic Training Program degree in 2022.
Georgy Kaspar, M.D., who is associated with Great Plains Health Heart & Vascular Center in North Platte, specializes in invasive cardiology and device implantations. He is board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular computed tomography and registered physician vascular interpretation. He will see patients at Community Hospital on the second Wednesday of each month.
Dr. Kaspar graduated from medical school at the University of Aleppo, Aleppo, Syria. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami-Miller School of Medicine, West Palm Beach, Florida and completed a cardiovascular fellowship at Providence-Providence Park Hospital/Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Southfield, Michigan. Community Hospital welcomed Hope Ferguson, M.D., in August 2021, a family medicine physician with obstetrics experience and training. Dr. Ferguson is associated
with McCook Clinic. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She completed her three-year family medicine residency at the University of Wyoming Family Medicine Residency in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2021. Her Doctor of Medicine was completed at Ross University School of Medicine with highest honors in Portsmouth, Dominica in 2018. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry, graduating with Cum Laude honors, from the University of Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Islam attended medical school at Dhaka Medical College in Bangladesh. He completed a residency in internal medicine and nephrology at Yale University, Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, Connecticut. Following his residency, he completed two fellowships at Yale University, Hospital of St. Raphael, one in internal medicine and one in nephrology.
Dr. Brown completed medical school and a residency in general surgery at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. He also completed a residency in urology at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois.of Tennessee.
