CHINASPROUT

At its inception, ChinaSprout was created to provide quality Chinese cultural and educational products to families who have adopted children from China. During outings in the park with her young son, ChinaSprout's founder, Xiaoning Wang, met many of these adoptive families, who looked to her to provide answers about China, and its language, culture, and history. Upon investigation, she discovered that there were no resources available in the U.S. for those interested in learning more about China or the Chinese language. In an effort to meet the growing needs of the Chinese adoptive community, Xiaoning launched ChinaSprout in 1999... Also in 2007, ChinaSprout was named an Official Licensee of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. This auspicious designation was awarded to a limited number of retailers in the United States, and everyone at ChinaSprout is very proud to have received such an honor.
