COLLEGE BOUND

College Bound believes in the power of diversity as a starting point in the pursuit of racial, gender, social, and economic justice. We strive to create a culture where every individual is valued. We demand accountability and action from all individuals to serve with an open mind and from a place of compassion, love, and humility... College Bound started with two high schools and 36 students in 2006.Today we serve nearly 550 students from more than 30 area high schools... The road to and through college is cluttered with obstacles - especially for students from under-resourced and overburdened communities. College Bound offers the support and guidance necessary to help first-generation students from low-income backgrounds get TO and THROUGH college.
