Derek Hussey - CTO

Derek has joined the API team with over twenty years of IT experience. After graduating from Thomas College in 2003 with a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) and a Master's in Science (MSTSE), Derek has spent his entire career in Accounting and IT. He has attained several industry certifications such as A+, Net+, Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and Sophos Certified Engineer and Architect among others. Derek has worked extensively in the education and healthcare industries and is familiar with maintaining systems to meet industry regulations such as HIPAA and FERPA. Most recently, Derek was employed as a Systems Analyst and .Net programmer. This included VMWare and software support and well as application development and troubleshooting. Derek currently lives in Fairfield with his wife and daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family and restoring old buildings.

Dillon Clifford

Dillon has joined the API Technology team with over twelve years' experience in the Information Technology field. He holds an Associates Degree in Computer Science from Kennebec Valley Community College. Outside of work, Dillon is actively involved with his church, and loves spending time with his friends and family. Dillon also likes working on cars, snowmobiling, and four wheeling. In addition to his degree, he has a passion for cybersecurity, which stems from his work in the banking industry, adhering to strict Federal GLBA regulations. He continued building that experience in Network Security at the RSU 18 school district learning about FERPA and how to better protect students. Dillon has experience supporting desktops, managing servers and backups, cloud solutions, networking, and cybersecurity implementation.

Jeremy Mahns

Jeremy has joined the API Team with over seventeen years' experience within the IT field. He currently lives in Augusta with his wife and daughter. Outside of work Jeremy enjoys playing golf, being on the water, and spending time with family and friends. Jeremy graduated from Syracuse University in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Information Management & Technology. He spent the past 12 years as the IT Manager for one of the top 10 antique auctioneers in the country, James D. Julia, Auctioneers, in Fairfield, Maine. Jeremy has experience supporting desktops, servers, printers, and network equipment.

Kaylin Stade

Kaylin will be taking over Accounting and Contract admin duties and will be shadowing Rachel Choate over the coming weeks. Kaylin lives in Pittston with her fiancée. She's a local girl graduating from Gardiner High School, then graduated from St Joseph's College with a Bachelor of Science degree, worked for Amazon before returning to her roots here in Maine close to family and friends. She enjoys and played field hockey in High School and College and now coaches the 5 th-6 th grade travel team.

Lisa Montagna

Lisa joins the API team with ten years of experience in website design and development. She lives in Manchester with her husband, son and daughter. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys watching her children participate in sports and music, reading, crossstitch, canning jams and salsa and spending time with friends and family. Lisa graduated from Elms College in 1986 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. She spent 15 years working as a paralegal before studying studio art at the University of Maine at Augusta. While a stay at home mom, Lisa began teaching herself HTML and CSS and discovered the magic of website code. Lisa has built and maintained over 350 websites and is a member of the International Webmasters Association and HTML Writers Guild.

Scott Fossett - President

Scott currently lives in Gardiner with his wife, two daughters, and son. He is a member of the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the Board for the UnitedWay of Kennebec Valley and the Kennebec YMCA. He has an Associates Degree from Central Maine Technical College in Electro-Mechanical Technology and a Bachelor's Degree from Thomas College. Scott worked as a Field Engineer for Digital Equipment Corporation and later Compaq for over 10 years supporting small and large systems for Clients in Maine. Since 1996, he concentrated his efforts on software and networking and became a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). He was instrumental in the planning and design of several very large Microsoft Back Office Systems at Gardiner Savings Bank of Maine, Domtar, MeadWestvaco, Maine Medical Center and the State of Maine Legislature. Other certifications include Dell, A+, N+ Sonicwall CSSA, and Kace. In the spring of 2000, Scott founded A Partner in Technology. "I could see a niche for personalized technology consulting right here in Maine. People in Maine want to trust their IT Services provider. They want to be comfortable opening up their environment. Ted St. Pierre

Ted lives in Monmouth with his wife, son and daughter and is an associate Pastor of his church in North Monmouth. After seeing changing market trends of the mid 90's, Ted transitioned from the industrial sector and began training in the Information Technology field. After a short time Ted knew that his occupational path was about to take a much different road. In January 2000, after receiving certification, Ted actively began searching out ways to fill the niche in the SMB and Home Office sectors in the local area. Since then, Ted has been active in the Information Technology field supporting business networks and home PC offices. In January 2005, Ted began work with API and has been involved in a variety of projects as diverse in scale as a 750 PC desktop conversion at a Maine paper mill to Network design and Server analysis as well as assisting Maine business owners with the latest Technology needs. Ted is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and has completed Comptia's A+, Net+ and Security+ certification paths, and continues to move forward with current technology. He has attended University of Maine in Augusta and is currently pursuing a Theology degree from Luther Rice University through Tacoma Bible College.
