It is also important to understand that a consultation with Dr. Gardiner does not assume that you will need surgery. You may well only need confirmation that your situation/condition does not require surgery, or can be followed with "watchful waiting"... We would appreciate the opportunity to provide your specialty care, and we understand the importance of close communication with your primary care practitioner and/or other specialists who may be involved in your care. We also recognize the importance of those who constitute your significant support system. We believe they should be included in any way that is helpful to you, if we have your express permission.
