I received my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. I grew up in South Florida, and have been with the practice for many years now. I know the ins and outs of everything pertaining to our offices, and I pride myself on being knowledgeable about every aspect of all of our patients accounts. Dr. Bianca Howard

Dr. Bianca Howard is a post-doctoral resident at Dr. David Yudell and Associates. She earned her Masters's (M.S.) and Doctorate (Psy.D.) degrees in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. She specializes in children and adolescents and provides therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Howard believes in a collaborative therapeutic approach that increases the quality of life, empowerment, and personal growth. She tailors her approach to the unique circumstances of each individual and/or family unit's needs. This is accomplished by emphasizing culturally sensitive practices that aid in understanding the background, ethnicity, and belief systems of the clients she serves. Dr. Howard has experience treating Post Traumatic Stress, high family conflict, reunification therapy, parenting concerns, mood disorders, anxiety, behavioral concerns, and comprehensive psychological evaluations. Additionally, Dr. Howard has extensive experience treating medical adherence-related issues and coping with chronic medical conditions and trauma.

Dr. Bryan Goldin

Dr. Bryan Goldin is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Dr. David Yudell and Associates. He earned his Doctorate and Masters degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. He provides therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Dr. Goldin has extensive experience in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, interpersonal and communication problems, body image concerns and eating disorders, adjustment issues, identity concerns, and the intersection between medical and psychological concerns. Dr. Goldin utilizes evidence-based practices to provide treatment, including Cognitive Behavioral, Interpersonal, Psychodynamic, and Solution-Focused therapies, integrating them when needed to approach therapy in a way that best fits the individual. He also believes that to best work with any individual, it is greatly important to discuss diversity, which comes in many ways and influences our experiences and perceptions in life. Dr. David A. Yudell

Dr. David A. Yudell is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing in both Broward and Southern Palm Beach county. He received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and additionally holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from NSU and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Seton Hall University. He specializes in both child and adult pathology and has extensive experience completing psychological evaluations and testing for private and public schools, the Division of Disability, the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, and private practice.

Dr. Irene Portillo Menendez

Dr. Irene Portillo Menendez is a clinical psychology resident practicing in Plantation and East Fort Lauderdale, FL. She completed her Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling degree at Nova Southeastern University and went on to complete her Masters of Science and Doctor of Psychology. Clinical psychology degrees at the APA accredited program at NSU, specializing in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Dr. Portillo Menendez completed her training practica at the Psychological Services for the Emotionally Distressed (PSED) clinic at NSU Psychology Services Center (PSC) and Intensive Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Clinics, where she specialized in providing a variety of approaches to adults suffering from a variety of difficulties, including long-term mental illness and personality disorders. She further trained at the Nicklaus Children's Hospital and Bruce W. Carter Miami VA Hospitals. During her pre-doctoral psychology internship, Dr. Portillo provided psychotherapy and psychological assessment services to children and adolescents in the Child, Adolescent, and Family Services clinic at NSU. She worked with individuals and families, using a variety of approaches as best suited for her patients. Dr. Portillo Menendez believes each patient seeks treatment with unique needs to be considered within their own individual history. Her training across various specialties and psychotherapeutic modalities has enhanced her approach in psychodynamic psychotherapy. Her approach centers around a collaborative experience between patient and psychotherapist. She treats individuals who seek personal psychotherapy to increase their own understanding of themselves, improve their relationships, and realize their fullest potential. Dr. Kaitlin O'Brien

Dr. Kaitlin O'Brien is a clinical psychology resident who is practicing in Coral Springs, Plantation, and East Fort Lauderdale. She completed her Master of Science and Doctor of Psychology, Clinical Psychology degrees at the American Psychological Association's (APA) accredited program at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). During her years of extensive training, she specialized in trauma and abuse throughout the lifespan, with specific interests in treating sexual trauma and first responder/military trauma and completed the APA-accredited concentration at NSU. While at Nova she completed clinical practica in the Adolescent Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT) clinic, the Trauma Resolution and Integration Program (TRIP) at NSU, and completed an additional practicum at the nonprofit organization Childnet. Her internship and post-doctoral residency were completed through Veteran Affairs centers where she furthered her trauma specialty education completing a predoctoral internship at the West Palm Beach VA with a specialty in PTSD/SUDS and completing her postdoctoral fellowship at the Veteran Affairs Pacific Islands Healthcare System with a specialty in Military sexual trauma, gaining additional experience in the PTSD clinic as well as the Women's Health clinic. After residency with the VA, Dr. O'Brien worked at Kahi Mohala Sutter Health, a residential facility in Hawaii, which had residential units for children, teens, and adults. While at Kahi Mohala, Dr. O'Brien completed psychological assessments, individual, family, and group therapy to patients within all units. She further expanded and revamped the programming on the residential female unit, where the majority of patients were teens rescued from human trafficking. In addition, she provided trainings and education on sexual trauma and trafficking to staff working within these units. Dr. O'Brien is a clinician who is integrative and collaborative in nature and uses approaches that are evidenced based. She has training in multiple Cognitive Behavioral Therapy based treatments as well as Dynamic and Emotion Focused therapies. She is additionally expanding her training in whole health-based approaches to give her clients well rounded holistic care as she believes in having a balanced whole health approach treating mind, body, and spirit. She utilizes individual strengths and forms collaborative relationship with her clients to personalize treatments leading to enhanced recovery and growth. She has a passion for researching and raising awareness on trauma and its impact on development, attachment, and self-esteem. Her hope, through research and education, is to raise awareness and reduce the stigma associated with mental health disorders and the impact trauma has on someone's self-esteem and self-efficacy. Dr. O'Brien works with all ages and provides psychological testing, consultation/education, individual, family, and group therapy. She specializes in trauma throughout the lifespan, with interests in first responder/military trauma, sexual trauma, personality disorders, substance abuse, mood disorders, life transitions, and self-esteem difficulties.

Dr. Kat Stubblefield

Dr. Katherine Stubblefield is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in working with toddlers, children, teens, young adults, and their families. Dr. Kat has trained specifically in working with children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and other related neurodevelopmental disorders. Furthermore, Dr. Kat creates a safe space for gender/sexual minority youth to learn more about who they are as they embark on their journey of self-discovery and identity formation. Dr. Kat obtained her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. The majority of her pre and post-doctoral training was spent learning how to conduct quality and comprehensive psychoeducational, developmental, and diagnostic evaluations of individuals across the lifespan; this includes toddlers as young as 2 years old up to college-age youth. With every assessment, Dr. Kat ensures that clients walk away with a better understanding of their strengths and areas of growth, along with recommendations necessary to achieve success. Therapeutically, children, youth, teens, and young adults can expect to learn a variety of techniques to help them overcome their difficulties and live more confidently in themselves and in their abilities. Dr. Kat also provides parent training to help families better understand and strengthen their relationship with their child. Dr. Kat utilizes a truly bio-psycho-social approach to treatment and assessments as she understands the value and importance of the mind-body connection.

Dr. Katherine H. Cadwalader

Dr. Katherine H. Cadwalader is a clinical psychology resident practicing in East Fort Lauderdale and Plantation, FL. She completed her Master of Science and Doctor of Psychology, Clinical Psychology degrees at the American Psychological Association's (APA) accredited program at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). During her years of extensive training, she specialized in psychodynamic psychotherapy and completed the four-year, APA-accredited concentration at NSU. She further completed clinical practica at the Bruce W. Carter Miami VA Hospital, where she performed neuropsychological assessments and collaborated with veterans, their physicians, and families to create a comprehensive care plan for their continued health. Dr. Cadwalader received in-patient training in a group, individual, and family psychotherapies with children, adolescents, and young adults at the Nicklaus Children's Hospital in-patient psychiatric unit. Dr. Cadwalader's training includes treatment with patients at the Intensive Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Clinic in NSU, where she specializes in long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy. Dr. Krystine Carter

Dr. Carter is a double board-certified psychiatrist in general psychiatry and the subspecialty of child and adolescent psychiatry. She completed her psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital where she was honored as chief resident. She was a recipient of the AACAP Educational Outreach Program Award and her interest in how social media and suicide impact one another led to a being published in the Journal of Psychiatric Practice. Since 2013, Dr. Carter has been specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry in Philadelphia, PA with a focus on community mental health where she had the opportunity to provide services in outpatient clinics, therapeutic preschools, urgent care centers, and telepsychiatry. Dr. Carter has experience with ADHD, ODD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, children with significant behavioral and social struggles, and many other psychiatric diagnoses. As quality care is of the utmost importance to Dr. Carter, she utilizes evidence-based practices while encompassing empathic and caring ways to understand her patients. She collaborates with all individuals involved in her patients' lives including parents, therapists, school staff, and other mental health and medical providers to provide optimal care.

Dr. Olivia Carelli

Dr. Olivia Carelli earned her Psy.D. and M.S. in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Carelli primarily treats anxiety and depression in children and adults. Dr. Carelli practices from a relational model and often uses emotion-focused and person-centered interventions. She also incorporates more concrete skills, including the Unified Treatment Protocol, DBT, CBT, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. She knows that trust and the therapeutic relationship are the most important aspects of healing. When treating children, Dr. Carelli focuses on helping them develop emotional awareness and emphasizes building self-esteem. Dr. Carelli also provides care for individuals experiencing eating disorders, PTSD, C-PTSD, Depersonalization/Derealization, and dissociation. For eating disorders, she uses a Health at Every Size approach and communicates with your team: nutritionist, psychiatrist, and general practitioner. Dr. Carelli completed her Pre-Doctoral Internship at The Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders. She was previously the coordinator for the Help Desk at the Sidran Institute for Traumatic Stress, where she directed survivors across the US to competent, trauma-informed care. Some of Dr. Carelli's other clinical interests include assessment, group therapy, family therapy, helping teens with body image concerns, and working with sexual and gender minorities.

Dr. Sara Ferguson

Dr. Ferguson emphasizes the importance of treatment from a holistic perspective and believes that life's challenges should not be faced alone. She provides psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Ferguson utilizes an integrative, collaborative, and strengths-based approach, with a primary emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. She has specialty training in the areas of mood and anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorder, developmental and intellectual disabilities, post-traumatic stress, and relationship issues. Dr. Ferguson has extensive experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. She spent seven years working as a clinician at the University of Miami-Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism (UM-NSU CARD), providing educational, clinical, and behavioral consultation to individuals, families, and related professionals.

Dr. Stephanie Muguira

Dr. Stephanie Muguira is a post-doctoral resident at Dr. David Yudell and Associates. She earned her Masters's (M.S.) and Doctorate (Psy.D.) degrees in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. She provides therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Dr. Muguira is committed to creating a safe space in which her clients feel comfortable to truly be themselves and embark on their unique therapeutic journey. She doesn't believe in a "one-size fits all" approach to treatment, but rather tailoring treatment to best accommodate her client's needs. Her goal is to empower each of her clients with the confidence and tools to achieve the goals they have set for themselves. Dr. Muguira believes the most important part of this journey is creating a strong therapeutic relationship in a collaborative environment. She utilizes a variety of approaches to therapy, including interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, family systems therapy, and play therapy. She has extensive experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment issues, relationship issues, reunification therapy, parenting issues, and more.
