EZ-BACKUP

At its peak, the EZ-Backup service backed up approximately 400 computers and servers for departments across campus. This platform used IBM Storage Protect (formerly Spectrum Protect), which ran on Windows, Mac, UNIX, and other operating systems. Storage was handled by a hybrid cloud storage solution. Access to stored files was password-protected, using a Kerberos-like two-way authentication process... Information technology (IT) is a strategic enabler for many functions at Cornell.
