Dr. S.E.A Akele holds a PhD in Seed Technology, M. Sc in Silviculture and was the Head, Green River Project of Nigerian Agip Oil Company for over 25 years and later the pioneer Corporate Sustainability Manager of Eni-Group of Companies in Nigeria, with vast experience in Community Development, Seed Production and Extension Services.
He successfully led Syngenta Nigeria Limited in its turn around synthesis in 2005. He is a technocrat to the core and combines it with sterling leadership qualities.
He provides the overall strategic leadership direction for the company ensuring that business objectives, vision and mission are executed and achieved as planned. He has direct specific responsibility for the Agribusiness, Finance and Management aspects apart from his general overall accountabilities.
