With a heritage of almost 100 years, Finnbrit is the home of English language services and events in Helsinki. You can study English with our expert language trainers, and you can prove your English skills by taking an officially recognised test that opens doors in Finland and abroad. We also host a wide range of clubs and events that all take place in English and are the perfect place to find a new hobby and meet new people... Finnish-British Society was established in 1926 to promote awareness of British culture, and to develop trade and friendship between Finland and England; please see the Constitution. In the early days of the Society, the activities included maintaining a library and organising discussions and gatherings around themes such as music, bridge, and literature. English teaching has since become one of the main activities at Finnbrit, along with English Language testing.
