Dominic is a GDC registered specialist periodontist. He has an interest in improving patients smiles with cosmetic gum contouring and soft tissue grafting, providing dental implants, bone augmentation and managing implant disease.
I worked as a dental nurse for 5 years in my native Scotland before relocating to Bristol to study dental hygiene where I graduated in 2017.
I have since worked in NHS and private practices in both Scotland and Bristol.
Federico was born in Italy and qualified from the University of Trieste in 2005. Previously he worked at Trieste Dental Hospital and various private practices in Italy while in 2006 he volunteered in Imperatriz, Brazil.
In 2007, he took the decision to relocate to Bath, where he has have settled with his family. Since then, he worked in different dental practices in Wiltshire and Somerset until he joined Somerford House Dental Clinic/Portishead Dental Clinic in 2021.
Federico strongly believes in modern and evidence based dentistry, offering all aspects of general dentistry. Some years ago, however, he started to develop a greater interest in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatments) and for this reason, in 2016, he has started a 3 year Master degree in Clinical Endodontics at the University of South Wales which he completed in 2019 with Distinction.

Jayne has worked within the dentistry industry for over 40 years. As a previous practice manager for The Dental Clinic Portishead. Jayne moved positions within the clinic and works part time as registered dental nurse at Portishead. Jayne enjoys caring for patients, and working with a great and enthusiastic team.
Keeley joined the clinic as a trainee dental nurse and is due to complete her studies for the National Certificate in Dental Nursing in Spring 2022.
Keeley is busy learning the dentistry industry and is a great asset to the team.
Outside work Keeley enjoys taking her dogs on long walks.
Ever since graduation from University of Bristol, Menna Down has been passionately committed to providing the best possible care for patients. Menna's passion and talent for dentistry, along with a gentle approach, never fail to put her patients at ease.
Menna enjoys extensive further training across a wide range of restorative dentistry disciplines, including the latest minimally-invasive techniques. She has completed Dr Christopher Orr's prestigious Aesthetic and Cosmetic Restorative Course and has also trained at the world-renowned Spear Pathway in Arizona, US.
Menna's eye for detail, her craftsman's approach and clinical skill will help you to feel confident of being in excellent hands.
Menna especially loves working with dental phobics and nervous patients. She enjoys a loyal following of fans who were once terrified of visiting the clinic.

I am a practicing and fully registered dentist as well as an medical aesthetician.
I offer a range of treatments for anti-ageing as well as enhancements, based on a full consultation. My aim is to make people feel like the best version of themselves, I want people to say "Wow, you look great!".
I have been working as an aesthetic practitioner for over 5 years. I have completed a range of aesthetics courses since beginning my aesthetic practice, including Botox training, Dermal filler training, a Lip Masters course. I am an Obagi skincare provider and a Profhilo practitioner.
I aim to make safety my priority, I have completed The Complications course with SkinViva Training Academy which is unique putting patient safety as the centre of aesthetics.

Simon qualified in 1990 from the University of Bristol. After a year of vocational training Simon joined the practice in 1992.
He enjoys looking after his patients in a kind and caring environment and to a very high standard. Simon has an interest in quality general and cosmetic dentistry. In 1998 he undertook a year long post-graduate course in the different implant systems available and has been placing Straumann implants since.
Simon is a member of the ITI (International Team for Implantology) and both the Bristol and South West implant study groups.
Outside of dentistry Simon enjoys family life and a healthy interest in cycling, cricket, the garden, dog walking and being outdoors.
Toni has been a dental nurse for 18 years and has been very passionate about the job since the first day she stepped into a dental practice. Always welcoming everyone with a huge smile.
