JESSICA represents a wide variety of individuals and business enterprises throughout New York, Europe and Latin America. From entrepreneurs to family-owned businesses and international investors, Jessica guides her clients through their commercial legal matters with ease and confidence. As an entrepreneur herself, Jessica identifies with the concerns of any business owner who has to balance the company's legal issues with its fiscal demands and applies a common sense approach to the practice of law. Prior to opening the Law Office of Jessica M. Sanchez, P.C., Jessica practiced commercial law in New York City for over a decade. During that time she represented clients in complex commercial litigation involving, among other things, claims of RICO, trademark infringement, labor and employment law violations and breach of contract. She also advised businesses on a regular basis concerning matters involving corporate formation and governance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate law, securities and general contract law. Because of Jessica's experience and entrepreneurial spirit, the firm's philosophy is to provide a client with quality, legal counsel without the exorbitant cost of a salaried in-house attorney or fees from an NYC-based commercial firm. By outsourcing one's legal needs on an "as needed" basis, the Law Office of Jessica M. Jimenez, P.C. brings tremendous value to businesses not otherwise financially positioned to retain experienced counsel and not desirous of incurring sky high fees for quality legal representation. Furthermore, Jessica's international experience and multi-cultural background allow her to transcend boundaries while representing a diverse array of clients. Jessica has studied, lived or spent extensive time in Colombia, Italy and Spain. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Italian. By virtue of having grown up in New York and lived abroad, Jessica is proud that her ability to identify with or otherwise empathize with her clients separates her from many other legal professionals in the area. Outside the practice of law, Jessica devotes her time to her three sons and the non-profit sector. She has served on the executive committee of the board of each the Westchester Hispanic Coalition and the Amber Charter School in East Harlem.
