Eric Potts was hired as the new Executive Director in April 2015. Most recently, Eric was the Director of Admissions and Outreach at Grays Harbor College. Eric has years of experience working in the community promoting Education, Scholarships and our area to local students. Eric was raised in Aberdeen and is a 1998 graduate of JM Weatherwax High School and a 2002 graduate of Washington State University. After college, Eric moved back to the area to pursue a career and in 2005 was hired on at Harbor After School.

She is passionate about philanthropy and is happy to be back home to Grays Harbor to raise her family.

Lyndsie Winter

Lyndsie Winter joins the Community Foundation with a background in marketing and communications. She has worked in the athletic departments at Boise State, Portland State and for the Western Athletic Conference. She served as the marketing and communications manager at the Port of Kalama before relocating for her husband's job and becoming a stay at home mom while raising their two children before returning to the work force in 2013 at the Satsop Business Park. Lyndsie has a Communications degree from Boise State University and a Master of Sports Administration degree from Ohio University. She and her family moved to Montesano in 2011 and love the Harbor community.

The Property Committee of the Grays Harbor Community Foundation is responsible for processing, reviewing, and managing all donations of real property and other gifts of a non-cash or not cash equivalent. This committee was originally formed to explore the possibility of creating a program where donors would be able to donate timberland as an asset to establish a charitable fund of any type, that the Foundation would promise to continuously manage the land, and the proceeds would be used to fund the charitable projects of the fund. That program is in operation, actively managing five pieces of timberland property in excess of 400 acres total.

Valerie joins the Foundation as the Finance and Accounting Officer, with 20+ years of experience in finance and accounting, mostly in the private sector. She grew up in Arizona, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arizona. For the last 8 years, she served as the Finance Director for the Community Foundation in Olympia, WA, and gained a true passion for the nonprofit world and serving the community. Valerie and he husband have lived in Grays Harbor for 15 years, where they are raising two wonderful children, and enjoy hiking, kayaking, and working on house projects.
