Andrew Caccamo

Andrew Caccamo is a highly skilled physical therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University. He has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Strength and Conditioning. Andrew has a wealth of experience in the field, having worked as a physical therapist at NY Physical Therapy & Wellness in Bohemia, NY, where he treated patients with orthopedic and sports injuries. Andrew has also gained valuable clinical experience through internships at various facilities, including Dynamic Performance Physical Therapy and Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He is licensed as a physical therapist in New York. Andrew recently joined the team at Island Sports Physical Therapy in December 2022 and is excited to bring his expertise and passion for helping others to his new role.

Brendan graduated Northeastern University in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation Science as well as a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. He began his time with Island Sports Physical Therapy in Huntington in 2009, and quickly was promoted to Clinic Director, a role which he held for 13 years. In January 2022, Brendan opened Island Sports Physical Therapy in East Setauket to bring our PT model to the Three Village area. While Brendan enjoys the variety of treating all orthopedic and neurological conditions for patients of all ages, he has a special interest in treating the overhead athlete. Brendan lives in Port Jefferson Station with his wife and two children. Outside of the clinic, Brendan enjoys paddleboarding, hiking, spending time with his children, and homebrewing beer and cider.

Dan Donato

Dan has been serving the Nesconset community with his high level of physical therapy skills since 1995. He brings with him diverse clinical experiences from over 20 years in practice. He values helping their patients regain their full functional goals whether it is to return to work, sports, or everyday activities. Dan received his physical therapy degree from Daemen College in Buffalo, NY. After graduation, he had the opportunity to be employed at The Hospital for Special Surgery, (HSS) in NYC where he developed a strong foundation of clinical skills and work ethic. He refined his skills over the past 20 years at Island Sports Physical Therapy. He has been co-owner of ISPT in Nesconset for the past 15 years. Dan has worked with a variety of diagnoses from head to toe with special interests in sports and total joint rehabilitation. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) which allows him to keep up with the most current evidence-based research.

Dr. Vincent Barry

Dr. Vincent Barry has been a Physical Therapist for nearly 40 years and has been serving the Riverhead community for over 25 years. He established his private practice, Maximum Performance Physical Therapy in 2001 located on Rt. 58 in Riverhead NY. Vincent brings nearly 40 years of experience to Maximum Performance Physical Therapy. He received his Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Touro College and earned his Doctorate (DPT) from Creighton University. He has undergone extensive postgraduate training in advance manual therapy techniques and sports medicine rehabilitation. Vincent earned his Board Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2007. Through extensive continuing education, he has also earned many other certifications including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Manual Therapist (MTC). He has also completed extensive studies in the osteopathic approach to manual therapy specializing in the evaluation and treatment of spinal dysfunction. Vincent was an instructor in undergraduate and post-graduate training courses at the local and national level. For 10 years Vincent was an adjunct professor at Stony Brook University's Doctoral Physical Therapy program and continues to serve as a clinical instructor for Physical Therapy Interns. Dr. Barry takes pride in being part of the Riverhead community. He volunteers his time by being a member of the Riverhead Rotary Club as well as serving on various Non-Profit boards for local organizations including Rise Life Services (formerly Aid to the Developmental Disabled). As an East End resident, Vincent takes pride in his expertise and values the care he provides to his local community. In his spare time Vincent enjoys playing the piano, spending time with his family especially his new Grandson.

DYAN NUNZIATO

Dyan attended The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia where she earned her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. She has been a member of the ISPT team for over 10 years. Dyan also has over 10 years' experience in acute care working in the hospital which allows her to understand patients' experiences directly out of surgery and through the outpatient stage of therapy. Dyan has been published in the American Physical Therapy Association's Hooked on Evidence for a review of analyzed articles on the effectiveness of hamstring stretching to prevent or reduce injury in athletes. Outside of the clinic, Dyan enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, traveling and creating new family experiences.

Graceanne Lopez

Graceanne Lopez is a board certified licensed Physical Therapist that received her Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from Adelphi University in 2017. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021. She has experience working with all age groups and has considerable knowledge treating populations that present with neurological and orthopedic conditions. She is highly motivated in continuing her education and plans on receiving a number of specialty certifications in the near future including her Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) and her Clinical Specialist Certificate in orthopedic rehabilitation (OCS). Outside the clinic, Graceanne enjoys exercising, spending quality time with family/friends, and traveling.

Jillian Beck-Chevalier

Jillian Beck-Chevalier is the Director of ISPT Huntington and has been a member of the staff since 2013 after graduating as a doctor of Physical Therapy. She is a lifelong resident of Huntington, where she is an active member of the local community. She completed her doctorate at Stony Brook University after achieving a Bachelor of Science at Iona College. During her tenure at Iona, she was a member of the Division 1 women's lacrosse team.

Kathryn Haas

Kathryn received her Bachelor of Science degree from Adelphi University, where she studied Exercise Science. Following her undergraduate degree Kathryn received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Stony Brook University. She pursued a career in physical therapy at Island Sports Physical Therapy due to a passion for helping others get out of pain and get back to preferred activities. Kathryn has over six years of experience working in the outpatient orthopedic setting. She has treated a diverse range of patients from student athletes and pediatrics, to post-operative cases and geriatrics. She utilizes a thorough rehabilitative plan consisting of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education in order to optimize function and achieve patient specific goals. She remains dedicated to honing her professional skills by participating in continuing education courses yearly. In her spare time Kathryn enjoys spending time with her family, going on hikes with her dog, and traveling.

Robert Ciani

Robert attended Towson State University and received his B.S in Biology. He completed his professional training at Touro College and received a B.S in Health Sciences and a master's degree in Physical Therapy. He started his professional career with Island Sports in 2000 and has been with the company for 22 years. He began his career at our Glen Cove location and earned the title of assistant director. He then became the director at Island Sports of Huntington. He later earned the directorship at Island Sports of East Northport, where he is presently. He enjoys working with the orthopedic population especially young athletes. He likes to work with all joint replacement patients, restoring function to improve their quality of life. Outside of the clinic Robert enjoys spending time with his friends and family, playing golf and working in his vegetable garden.

Ron Winicki

Graduated University of Vermont with B.S. in physical education with a concentration in sports medicine. Received Master's Degree in physical therapy from Touro college on Long Island. Practicing physical therapy for over 22 years. Clinical instructor of students for numerous physical therapy programs. Played/ coached professional ice hockey in Europe. Currently coaches/ teaches ice hockey and soccer. Has lectured for Winthrop University Hospital in Orthopedics. Treatment of athletes from youth through professional with expertise in returning athlete safety and ready to play.

Shannon Gilroy

Shannon Gilroy graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Sociology. She became a certified crossfit trainer and worked as an aide at Island Sports Physical Therapy East Meadow where she found her true passion. She applied and was accepted to Touro College where she graduated in 2021 with a BS in health science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Shannon started her career at a traumatic brain injury and stroke facility. There she gained experience treating patients with various acute and chronic neurological conditions. Shannon joined Island Sports Physical Therapy to give back to the community where she grew up. Being from an athletic family of ten children Shannon knows all too well what it takes to live a healthy lifestyle, keep your body in good condition, and recover from various injuries. She hopes to use her knowledge and experience to help her patients achieve their goals.

Steven Pantell

Steve graduated with an entry level Physical Therapy Degree from New York University in 1985 and gained valuable experience treating at the Rusk Institute of Medicine. He completed his advanced Masters in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Long Island University in 1992. Steve has been a member of Island Sports Physical Therapy since 1993 and opened Island Sports Physical Therapy of Glen Cove in 1995. Island Sports Physical Therapy of Glen Cove has been a trusted resource for the community for close to three decades and Steve has treated all injuries from the professional athlete/performer to the homemaker or weekend warrior. His emphasis of care is an active approach, concentrating on Therapeutic exercise, which can be carried over to a lifelong plan for wellness. Steve has been married for over 30 years and has two wonderful daughters. Outside of the clinic, Steve's weekends are usually packed with sports and family. He also enjoys hiking and golfing as well as racquetball and pickle ball.

Trinity Grasso

Trinity graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in 2021. Upon graduation she was inducted to Alpha Eta - a National Honor Society for the top 20% of students in each class. Trinity has a background in personal training, strength and conditioning, and fitness class instruction. She worked at her campus recreation center for 5 years in various leadership roles prior to graduation, and has experience strength training youth athletes. Trinity has earned various certifications including ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and group fitness certifications for indoor cycling and TRX suspension training. She takes pride in combining her fitness background with her doctoral level of physical therapy education to create a plan of care custom fit to each individual.
