Jay Mountain Alpacas is located in Jay, New York a small community nestled in the picturesque Adirondack Mountains. We are just 30 minutes east of Lake Placid, 2 hours north of Albany and 2 1/2 hours south of Montreal Canada... Jay Mountain Alpacas was established in 1999, when the first of 3 registered Huacuya Alpacas arrived at our farm. Since then we have strived to educate ourselves as well as our customers about these unique, gentle animals... Our goal is to offer our customers fine quality alpacas, from excellent lineage at reasonable prices, and to give each customer ongoing support after the sale. We strive to give "big farm" values while keeping our small farm ambiance .
