KALIKASAN

Kalikasan People's Network for the Environment (Kalikasan PNE) is a nationwide environmental campaign center composed of non-government organizations (NGOs), grassroots organizations, and environmental advocates based in the Philippines. Kalikasan is the Filipino term for ‘nature'... Since its founding on November 25, 1997, Kalikasan PNE has placed primacy on addressing environmental issues from the perspective of advancing the welfare of the grassroots-level populace foremost. We believe that the struggle for the environment is the struggle for the people's welfare, and frames its campaigns, advocacy, education, and international network initiatives accordingly.
