Adam Perlin focuses his practice in the areas of construction law and commercial litigation. He represents general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, and developers in all stages of litigation, as well as clients in a broad range of litigation matters in state and federal courts.
Mr. Perlin has experience working as a federal judicial law clerk, including Judge Kenneth P. Neiman, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Massachusetts, Sandra L. Townes, United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of New York, and Robert E. Cowen, United States Circuit Court Judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. In addition to his numerous clerkships, Mr. Perlin brings with him experience in a wide range of commercial litigation matters.
Adam Marshall focuses his practice in the areas of professional liability and construction law, with an emphasis on legal malpractice and construction defect litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Marshall was an associate in the commercial litigation department of a regional firm based in Nassau County, where he represented financial institutions, energy and telecommunications companies, religious corporations and municipalities in a wide variety of matters in state and federal courts. In addition to malpractice and construction cases, Mr. Marshall has successfully litigated title disputes, whistleblower claims, consumer class actions and foreclosures.
Mr. Marshall is a graduate of Binghamton University and the Hofstra University School of Law. During law school he excelled in moot court, winning the school's intramural competition in 2007. He later served as a brief writer and oralist for Hofstra's International Moot Arbitration Team, helping to successfully represent the school in the prestigious Willem C. Vis Moot held in Vienna and Hong Kong.
Adam Nicolazzo focuses his practice in professional liability defense, D&O defense, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation matters. In his professional liability defense practice, he represents attorneys, doctors, and insurance industry professionals in cases pending in New York's state and federal courts, as well as in disciplinary proceedings before state grievance committees. Mr. Nicolazzo also represents directors, officers, and corporate entities in business and real property disputes. He also analyzes professional liability policies for attorneys, securities broker-dealers, and other professionals.
Mr. Nicolazzo also has experience representing securities industry professionals and investors in securities industry investigations and inquiries, as well as FINRA arbitration proceedings.

Gregg Breitbart serves as the co-managing partner of the Fort Lauderdale office and is the co-chair of the Financial Services & Institutions Practice Group. Mr. Breitbart focuses his practice on securities arbitration and litigation; securities regulatory and enforcement matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and state regulatory authorities; employment litigation; directors & officers (D&O) litigation; corporate governance matters; and related commercial litigation and counseling.
Mr. Breitbart has more than 30 years of experience. Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, he served as a partner at a Wall Street-based law firm representing corporate and individual clients in securities-related matters, including arbitration, litigation and regulatory proceedings. Preceding that position, Mr. Breitbart served as the general counsel of a regional broker-dealer and investment bank, with more than 300 associated persons. In that role, Mr. Breitbart handled a wide range of matters including securities regulatory and enforcement issues with the Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, and various state regulatory authorities; securities arbitration and litigation on behalf of the firm and its representatives; employment-related disputes, litigation and arbitration; and related commercial litigation and counseling. Prior to that position, Mr. Breitbart was a partner with an international law firm located in Miami, Florida, where his practice focused on representing clients in securities litigation and arbitrations, regulatory investigations and proceedings, and commercial litigation.
Mr. Breitbart began his legal career in New York with one of the nation's oldest law firms, Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, where he participated in a variety of commercial matters, including litigation (securities/broker-dealer, corporate governance, employment) and corporate finance (CMO's, sale-leaseback transactions and other securitized finance transactions).
