Anna Lindsey is a native of Northeast Alabama where she was born and raised on a cotton farm in Cherokee County. She is a graduate of Auburn University where she studied Agriculture Business and Economics. Soon after graduation, Anna began her career at the Little River Canyon Center as the Sales and Services Coordinator. After five years with Jacksonville State University, Anna is now the Sales and Services Manager. The successful start-up of the Canyon Center Gift Shop is one of Anna's proudest achievements. Sales at the gift shop continue to increase year after year. In addition to the expansion of the gift shop, event bookings have increased. Some of the many events held at the Canyon Center include: educational programs, weddings, workshops, and concerts. Anna looks forward to continued growth and development at the Canyon Center. Anna's favorite aspect of her job is diversity and anticipation of what each day will bring.

A Camp Director turned Naturalist/Educator; Beth has been on the JSU Field School team since April 2019 and with JSU since 2009. As a military kid she moved all over the U.S. before landing in Sweet Home Alabama. She attended Jacksonville State University and earned a B.S. in Recreation Leadership while being very involved on campus from holding the title of Miss JSU 2012 to allegedly "COCKY' the JSU Gamecock from 2010-2013. After college Beth completed a year long mission trip around the world serving in over 23 countries. She is now living her dream by spending her days researching black bears, creating programs for the field school and leading field trips for young people who share her enthusiasm for conservation, preservation and education. Beth with her husband Paul and son Max reside in Leesburg, AL. In her time away from the Canyon Center she enjoys spending time outdoors, international missions, and traveling.

Meet Brooks Gallman, a Jacksonville State University Alumni, majored in English and minored in Art in 2013. While at JSU, he worked with the University Police Department as a security guard. From there, he worked around six years at the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) as a security guard, writer, lessons learned analyst, and media specialist. After leaving the CDP, he went overseas to help oversee a ministry for a few years called the Shelter On The Lake where he met his wife, Katie, who is from Ohatchee, AL. They got married October 25, 2014. After coming back to the U.S. in 2016, Brooks and Katie went to work for two years at the Phantom Ranch Bible Camp in Southeast Wisconsin where he was the Guest Groups Director. Brooks is highly motivated and excited to work at the Little River Canyon Center. In March 2022 Brooks and Katie have a beautiful baby girl named Ellie and a wonderful black lab named Solar.

Cheryl Tucker was raised in Sand Rock, Alabama. After attending Gadsden State Community College she was employed with TDS Telecom for 31 years. She can now be found helping out at JSU's Little River Canyon Center's Gift Shop.

Dr. McCollough currently serves as the Department Head of Communication and was the lead on the department's successful push for full reaccreditation during their 2023 site revisit. Under his leadership, the unit completed facilities and curriculum updates to meet industry standards, made a rigorous curriculum more flexible and accessible for students, and has re-engaged with alumni and industry to support program development and to bring industry into the classroom. In the site report, the assessors described the programmatic changes as a difference of, "Night and Day," and noted the comments of one alumna and advisory board member describing the state of the program as, "the best it has ever been."
Dr. McCollough is also a member of the Editorial Boards for the Journal of Public Interest Communications, as well as the Journal of Public Relations Education, where he has served as the Associate Editor for Reviews, and now serves as the Senior Associate Editor for the journal.

Rebekah Moore Taylor is a native of Fort Payne, Alabama. Rebekah graduated magna cum laude from Troy University in 2011. She earned a bachelor's degree from Troy University in Environmental Science with a double minor in Spanish and Leadership in 2011. During college, she volunteered at Desoto State Park. After graduating from Troy, Rebekah was an experiential education teacher at Nature's Classroom Atop Lookout Mountain. She then began her 10-year career at the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) in the Environmental Indicator Section as an Environmental Scientist, Senior. She went on to become the Chief of the Aquatic Assessment Unit in 2019. She recently moved back home to Fort Payne, AL. When not working she enjoys hiking, camping, and traveling with her family and being involved at her church.

Sharon's love of nature began in childhood, growing up in the foothills of Mt. Cheaha in Talladega County, where she would frequently hike and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. During her studies at Jacksonville State University for Language Arts-Secondary Education, Sharon took part in work-study programs and spent her summers employed at a ranch in Winter Park, Colorado which expanded her knowledge and appreciation of wildlife. After college, she traveled extensively and lived in various states before returning to her beloved Alabama. While raising her two wonderful children, Sharon taught at private schools, learning co-operatives, and served as a private tutor for twelve years. A published author, avid reader, and life-long learner, she returned to JSU as a continuing education student in the Integrated Studies program. Sharon merged her love of the outdoors, learning, and teaching into one when she joined the staff at the Little River Canyon Center in the spring of 2021.
Shyann was born and raised in Northeast Alabama and recently graduated from Gadsden State Community College with her associates in science. She plans to attend to Jacksonville State University and study early childhood development. Shyann started working at the JSU Canyon Center in the fall of 2020 and enjoys helping customers in the gift shop and meeting new people. In her free time, she enjoys singing and playing guitar.

An Atlanta, Georgia native, Tiffany spent most of her summers in Alabama and fell in love with the rolling hills and forest. Tiffany moved to Jacksonville, Alabama in the Summer of 1996. After an exciting career as a salon manager and Cosmetologist at one of Atlanta's prestigious salons, Tiffany took a hiatus from the big city and moved to Jacksonville, Alabama. In 2008, she started a career in JSU's Mail Center. After a successful 5 year stay with the Mail Center, Tiffany, wanting to become more involved with the University's policy and administration, she decided to take on the role as Secretary in JSU's Environmental Policy & Information Center. You can find her in the EPIC office at Ft. McClellan.
