KHAYALETHU

Khayalethu Youth Centre provides a home for 35 children at risk, aged between six and 21. We aim to prepare these boys physically, emotionally and intellectually to become responsible, functioning members of society. The boys are removed from danger, away from a life of crime, abuse and poverty, and given another chance to reach their potential... Our mission at the ACC Khayalethu Child and Youth Care Centre is to provide intervention programmes and alternative care for children at risk, specifically boys, between the ages of 8 and 18; meeting their basic needs through a holistic and developmental approach with the ultimate aim of re-socialisation and family re-unification.
