KIDS DENTAL EXPERTS - Key Persons
Dr. Eric J. Van Miller is a Green Bay native and graduate of Pulaski High School. He completed his B.S. in Zoology at UW-Madison and went on to Marquette University for his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. From there, he completed a general practice residency, as chief resident, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Medical Center and then obtained his pediatric dental Specialty Degree, also as chief resident, from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He's a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Brown-Door-Kewaunee Dental Society, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition to spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their three children, Dr. Eric enjoys golfing, fishing, skiing, hunting, and watching the Green Bay Packers.
Dr. Erin Kallsen grew up in Iowa City, Iowa. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Marquette University in Milwaukee and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa. During dental school, Dr. Erin participated in research through the Pediatric Dentistry Department about risk factors for cavities in young children and infants. She won the James S. Wefel Pediatric Dentistry Predoctoral Competition Award recognizing her work and research achievements, and her involvement in this project is what sparked her interest in pediatric dentistry and led her to pursue her advanced specialty training at the University of Pittsburgh. When not working, Dr. Erin enjoys biking, camping, hiking and spending time with her kitty, Olive.
Dr. Evan Templeman was born and raised in Minnesota, graduating from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and a minor in nutrition and dietetics. He went on to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Following dental school, Dr. Evan received his advanced specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Northwestern University / Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago where he served as chief resident. During residency, he was an elected board member of the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists and a Medical Education Clinical Scholar at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Evan loves to cook and try new restaurants with his fiancé, Sam. He is also an avid sports fan and loves spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Meredith Evans was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy and completed her business degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from The University of Michigan where she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. Dr. Meredith received a master's in Pediatric Dentistry from The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital. She served as chief resident during her final year of residency. She's a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Brown-Door-Kewaunee Dental Society, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She and her husband, David, enjoy skiing, tennis, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers. After 13 years of being one of our full time doctors, Dr. Meredith has transitioned in to a support role for our practice by filling in when our other doctors are on vacation and is otherwise enjoying raising her 3 boys.
Dr. Nathan Tran was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience, and a minor in German. He attended dental school at Marquette University in Milwaukee before going on to complete his training in pediatric dentistry as chief resident at Yale University/Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. Outside of work, Dr. Nathan loves working out, going on walks with his wife and their dog, Honey, and watching movies.
