Brenda Bancroft

A Midwest native, Brenda received her Master of Arts in Literature & Pedagogy from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI. She has held a variety of positions in the publishing and printing industry for over ten years, and more recently, she was an Account Representative with McNaughton & Gunn. She then joined Frank Gaynor & Associates before they both moved on to Kingery Printing in the summer of 2023. Brenda enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter on their small hobby farm in Michigan, where she is often found puttering around in the vegetable garden with her chickens. She is also an avid reader and volunteers as the Book Sales Coordinator for her local Friends of the Library.

Brett Hartman

Brett is the Human Resources Manager at Kingery Printing. He is a 4 th generation printer, and has held various positions throughout printing organizations in Illinois and Texas. In addition, he has also held Management positions in the satellite tv, home healthcare, and manufactured housing industries. Brett graduated from Effingham HS, and received his MBA from Eastern Illinois University, and is happy to be "home" again. He resides in Martinsville with his wife, Connie, and enjoys spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Deb Clawson

Deb's background was in direct sales with Mary Kay Cosmetics. Mary Kay taught her a lot that she uses here every day: Promise a little, deliver a lot. Find a need and fill it. Smile when you are on the phone - the customer can hear that. Reach back and pull others up with you as you climb that ladder of success. She started her Kingery career in October of 1996. She soon learned to keep tabs on her jobs like she did her children: Where are you? Who are you with? When will you be home? That has served her well! Deb is a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 9. Activities such as gardening, aqua exercise and aqua Zumba classes, jogging, and light weight lifting help her keep up with those 9 little grandkids!

Frank Gaynor

After graduating from the London College of Printing, Frank worked for a variety of magazine publishers in the UK. He was transferred to the US in 1981 and was subsequently hired by McNaughton & Gunn shortly thereafter where he handled their West Coast Sales Office operations for more than 40 years. He joined the Kingery Printing sales team in June 2023. Frank enjoys spending time with his wife and three grown children, traveling and is an avid sports fan, especially soccer. He volunteers with a number of charities in Sonoma, CA - his adopted hometown - and is a keen supporter of the local wine industry.

Greg Nichols

Greg has 30 years of experience in the printing industry. He started his career at United Graphics in Mattoon as a press operator. Since then, Greg has served as Pressroom Manager and Prepress Manager in Mattoon, and currently is the Plant Manager of the Mattoon facility.

Jared Chesnut

Jared Chesnut started in the printing industry the summer after he graduated from Effingham High School in 2000. He began his career at Kingery Printing Company in 2005 after graduating from Greenville University with Bachelor of Arts Degrees in History/Political Science & Religion/Philosophy. He has served as an estimator, Assistant Business Manager, Bindery Manager, Business Supervisor, and now as our Business Manager. He resides in Effingham, Illinois with his wife Shealyn, who teaches first grade at Cumberland Elementary School, and their son John Mark.

Jim Zawodny

Jim started with Kingery Printing in 2014, bringing with him an experienced sales effort in the printing industry. Jim's primary position is on our sales team, where he is focused on supporting his customers with a variety of today's print tools. He is also a member of our marketing team. His experience goes back 30 years, just after graduating from Tiffin University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Jim lives in the Columbus, Ohio area with his wife and 3 kids. He is the basketball announcer for his local high school as well as an avid sports fan who especially loves watching basketball and soccer games.

John Kingery - Chairman

On October 1, 1968, John, with the help of his wife, Dolores, founded Kingery Printing Company in a rented building on the courthouse square in Effingham, Illinois. Over the following years, John directed the growth of the Company to nearly 200 employees. Since retiring from day-to-day activities at Kingery Printing Company, he continues to provide direction to its Board of Directors. For the past 7 years, John has served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board of St. Anthony Hospital in Effingham, and remains active in community projects.

Kathleen Smith

Michael Kingery - President

Michael served as President of M&D Printing, a division of Kingery Printing Company, in Henry, Illinois, for 22 years before returning to Effingham. While in north-central Illinois, Michael served on a local bank board and was awarded the Sheriff Schofield Community Service Award (2007), in Peoria, Illinois.

Stacy was born in the area but moved to Chicago as a toddler. In late 2020, she decided to move back home where her family lives. She is a proud dog parent of her miniature pincher, Otis. Her favorite hobby is reading, coming to work at Kingery Printing seems to be fate.

Steve Shedelbower

As Sales Manager, Steve supports the sales force and works with many of Kingery's customers. Steve Shedelbower graduated from Vincennes University in 1982 with a degree in Printing Technology. While in high school, he worked for a small print shop hand-setting metal type and hand-feeding letterpresses. He has held positions at other printing facilities in the Prepress, Press, and Bindery departments before taking on positions of Production Manager and Assistant General Manager. His career at Kingery Printing Company began in 1988. As Sales Manager at Kingery Printing Company, Steve oversees the sales team and works directly with many of our customers.

Steven Kingery - Treasurer

He has currently returned to the printing industry by joining the Kingery Printing Company management team.
