Adriana Lopez-Diaz

Dr. Lopez-Diaz was born in Puerto Rico but grew up in the Central Florida area. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2014, and worked in the animal/pet industry and in clinics around the area for a few years before setting off to acquire her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. If she seems familiar to you, it's because she worked with us as a technician from 2017 to 2019. She loved it here so much that after graduation, she decided to come back and rejoin the team as a doctor. She lives in the SoDo area with her two rescue dogs, Laika and Oliver. Her professional interests include dermatology, dentistry, parasitology, and exotics. In her free time she enjoys roller blading, rock climbing, reading, and plants, plants, plants!

Brandi Englehardt

Dr. Englehardt is our relief vet. She comes in once a week so our doctors can have a day off and when they go on vacation. A native Floridian, Dr. Englehardt grew up in Brandon. She completed her bachelor's degree from Auburn University. She then completed her first three years of vet school at Ross University before returning to her alma mater, Auburn, to complete her last year and graduate with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Englehardt's favorite part of vet med is cats, cats, cats. She lives in the downtown area with her soon to be husband and their five cats.

Gladys Usera

Gladys is our practice manager. She has been with us since the start in 2008 as a receptionist, technician, and inventory manager. She took a year off in 2011 and rejoined our team in August of 2012 right after finishing her bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida. She lives close by with her three dogs and enjoys taking them on nature adventures like the beach, hikes, and kayaking.

Ina L. Hernandez

Dr. Hernandez obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez in 2002. She then joined Tuskegee University in Alabama where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. After graduation, Dr. Hernandez completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Missouri University-Columbia before moving to Florida. Once here she worked at clinics in the Central Florida area before joining our team in October 2010. She lives here in the community with her husband and their two rescue dogs, Coco and Cosita. Her major interests include internal and preventive medicine.

Miguel A. Rivera

Dr. Rivera was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He completed his doctorate of veterinary medicine at Tuskegee University in Alabama and graduated in 2004. He then moved to Florida and worked at an animal hospital in St. Cloud before opening his own practice, Lake Nona Animal Clinic, in 2008. He currently lives here in the Lake Nona community with his wife and their two rescue dogs, Cosita and Coco. His clinical interests include internal medicine, and dermatology, but his true passion is surgery. At the moment, he is most excited about our new laparoscopy equipment and services. Hernandez

Yeimarie Quintana

Dr. Quintana was born and raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus and later graduated in 2018 with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in Indiana. Dr. Quintana joined our team in 2020 and so far she's loving it. She lives locally in the Lake Nona area with her family and her pets: Maggie, a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, and her two cats, Mewshi and Blueberry. Some of her vet med favorites include surgery, preventative medicine, client education, and giving love and cuddles to her patients.
