Dr Hangfei Guo

Dr Hangfei Guo is the Director of Certificate and Diploma Programmes at Queen's Business School, overseeing accredited courses at the Clinton Leadership Institute. Hangfei joined the School as a Lecturer in Management at Queen's University Belfast in October 2019. Previously, Hangfei was a Lecturer in Operations Management at the University of East Anglia (2015-2019). Hangfei gained her Ph.D. in Business (2015) from McMaster University (Canada) and MPhil in Business (2011) from Lingnan University (Hong Kong). Hangfei's main research focus lies on operational research, operations management and supply chain management. Her current research aims to bridge the gap between mathematical tractability and practical applicability using analytical models and optimisation techniques on one hand and empirical studies employing data-driven and prescriptive methods on the other hand. Hangfei has published papers in leading journals such as International Journal of Operations & Production Management, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research and Naval Research Logistics.

Professor Ulf Bosch serves as the Academic Director with the William J. Clinton Leadership Institute. Ulf champions pivotal strategies to foster the convergence of academic and applied knowledge. His focus lies on the development of a compelling learning experience and an impactful portfolio of teaching capabilities. Ulf Bosch has more than 20 years of international consulting experience serving as Head of Practice with PwC and Towers Watson. Based out of Europe and China, he has lead 200+ organisational transformations interacting with C-suite executives of some of the world's most discerning clients including Airbus, BASF, BMW, Bosch, Siemens and VW. His academic research interest lies in the realms of international business strategy in emerging markets and digital transformation with an emphasis on organisational, behavioural and cultural change. As initiator and Programme Director at the Institute, he is at the helm of the Strategic Change Leadership for Digital Transformation and the Leading Transformation through Culture executive programmes. Ulf Bosch holds a PhD in Strategy from King's College London, a global MBA from CEIBS Shanghai and a double BA (Hons) degree from ESB Business School. He has been an invited presenter with the Strategic Management Society and a guest lecturer on Organisational Change and Culture with Cambridge University Business School.
