June started Madbert's in 2001 and moved into her own studio in 2006. Having spent 10 years as a qualified adult tutor for Devon ACL, she now has the pleasure of teaching small groups in her studio... June's love of stained glass was sparked almost 25 years ago and she started designing and making her own pieces straightaway. Her love of water and the ocean inspired her early work and then her deep connection to Dartmoor and Devon started to show in her work as the years went by.
