LOWE TUNING

My piano tuning career began in 1980, when I began a 4 year apprenticeship in Auckland City at Atwater's Music Shop, the largest workshop in New Zealand at the time... I consider myself very fortunate to have trained in this workshop as it was the largest in New Zealand at the time, and my time there provided the opportunity to gain experience working on a great variety of pianos. This included overhauling and refurbishing old and middle-aged pianos, both high quality European grands and uprights, as well as tuning and servicing new instruments... A perfect preparation for the endless variety of piano work I now encounter as a self-employed tuner/technician.
