Now that we have passed our 25th anniversary and stronger than ever, the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club explores the lively sounds of Scottish music, with repertoire that both acknowledges and reinvents traditional roots, drawing enthusiastic and loyal crowds. Regularly collaborating with some of the world's best traditional musicians, the Melbourne Scottish Fiddlers deliver a charming and exhilarating show... We are fiddle (and viola, cello, bass, mandolin, guitar, harp - you name it) players of all ages and stages who meet to play tunes from the Scottish diaspora. We play together, some of us perform together, we share tunes, we have a lot of fun - and we make CDs. Our fourth and fifth CDs both won Golden Fiddle Awards for Best CD.
