I started working for Michelin in Dec 2000, working in the Customer Service Centre for 5 years. I moved to Michelin Training centre in 2005, I am the Office Manager, I look after the office & raise all the paperwork, take bookings for courses, invoice customers, manage the systems, costs & update the Training Centre Website.
In my spare time I spent most of it at the gym & going on holiday to various places.
I am a Mechanical Engineer specialising in Automotive Engineering. This is my 33 rd year working for Michelin.
I was initially involved in the design of parts for tyre making machines, then in tyre production and quality methods, developing efficient and effective processes to ensure the repeatability and quality of Michelin products. I then worked as a Tyre Engineer in Motorsport to optimise the use of the motorsport tyre range in competition on track.
For over 20 years I have been a Technical Manager, responsible for giving advice to users of tyres (including emergency services and users of high performance vehicles on and off road and on track) to maximise tyre and vehicle performance, whilst learning about practical tyre performance to feed back into tyre development processes. This role includes being an Expert Witness for Michelin, investigating tyre related incidents and reporting on causation.
Recently, I have supported and developed practical training events, demonstrating tyre performance and the effects of tyres on vehicle safety, stability and performance.
Throughout my career, I have been involved in training relating to vehicle and tyre dynamics and tyre examination techniques.
Outside work, I have developed various practical skills and enjoy repairing old and broken items, making creating and building things. I have renovated numerous classic vehicles.
I started in Learning & Development back in 1997 at NatWest and delivered course from Induction, Customer Service, Sales & Management. I have worked in a number of sectors in my 26 years in Learning & Development, Retail, Telecommunications, Debt Collection, Utilities and the Tyre Industry.
I joined the Michelin family in 2013 working at ATS looking after Sales & HO as a Learning & Development Business Partner. I then worked in the Operation there before coming to Michelin on a secondment working with the B2B Truck Team in 2019. I re-joined Michelin in October 2020 as the UK MTIC Manager and Local Competency Manager for Sales across the zone, in June 2022 I also became the UK L&D Manager.
A Michelin employee for 12 years and counting with a vast experience in various roles, mainly within the Service and Solutions area of the business, ranging from contract administrator to business analyst. Part of the Michelin Training and Information Centre team since January 2022 with a good knowledge spanning across all business lines delivering technical and soft skill training to internal and external delegates.
I have held the role of Training Instructor since January 2020 having previously had a variety of different roles in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and CRM within Michelin since I joined in September 2000. I am predominantly B2B and Soft Skills focused where I can bring a broad range of experiences to help to support and develop people through training and coaching.

I have been part of the Michelin Training and Information Centre Team since January 2014. My knowledge covers B2C and B2B. I deliver technical and soft skill training to internal and external delegates.
In my spare time, I love ski-ing in the Alps whenever I have the opportunity and also play a bit of tennis - mainly in doubles now due to my advanced age.
I joined Michelin in May 2011 initially as an account manager, supporting B2B customers to ensure they received the maximum value from Michelin. I've managed an internal sales team, and most recently have worked with the Services and Solutions Division overseeing the Michelin ONCall breakdown network.
If I have any free time, then I enjoy weight training, mountain biking or motorbike riding. I'll also read pretty much any book.
