Micron Platers was founded by Shri Dhirubhai P. Shah B.Sc., B.Sc.(Tech) who had a training in the laboratories at M/s. W.Canning & Ltd. Birmingham U.K. and was the first person in India to manufacture Metallic Cyanides on a commercial side... Micron Platers went into production in 1967 as a job plating shop. Towards the end of 1967 production of Silver Potassium Cyanide, Gold Potassium Cyanide, Silver Cyanide, Copper Cyanide and other metallic Cyanides commenced. Later the production of compounded salts of Precious Metals along with salts of Copper, Brass, Zinc and Cadmium were taken up...
